I love this book. i"m receiving this book as is. It came to me with a tear in the front cover. Thank you so very much for taking care of the cause of this. i have almost all of her books on aromatherapy. this book will complete what I am in need of.

This book is going in my favorites list. Excellent! There are many Biblical references in here so if you are “offended” by the Bible or religious texts you may want to avoid this book. However, there’s no denying that ancient texts have referred to oils for various uses for millennium. I find it to be well researched and with some fascinating information in it. The bibliography alone is so worthwhile to peruse for resources for more reading. There is a wealth of information on energy fields and the effects of thought and EO’s on them. I think Valerie Ann Worwood is an absolute master of aromatherapy and an excellent writer also. I highly recommend this book.

A little too out there for me. Not my cup of tea, but somebody else might like it. I still gave it 5 stars for what it is… just not for me.

I simply love this book. I bought the book in a paperback version and have it tabbed, highlighted, and dog-eared. Being a touchy-feely massage therapist and lay chaplain, I have used this book with great success. Aromatherapy for the Soul has become a personal and professional favorite of mine that I will use for a long time to come. Five stars for the book because it is the first of its kind in one binding. I give Kindle 2 stars. There is simply so much more that Kindle can be doing to make reading for purpose and research or reference better. I do not want to highlight and forward a passage to Facebook or Twitter; I want to copy and paste onto a research paper! I want chapter side tabs that I can turn to at any time. I want to be able to completely mark up a Kindle book as if I were annotating a paper bound. I want more features to use for references, plain and simple. Join Kindle with iAnnotate, Dropbox, Evernote, or some other free productivity to reference. I rarely pleasure read find Kindle versions of books and texts to be sorely wanting.

Translates beautifully to Kindle format. Delicious history of aromatherapy oils, techniques, source and use origins from ancient into present spiritual contexts [Kabbalah, Vedic, Christian], with excellent botanical, geographic and cultural traditions [Islam, Japan, Native American and much more]. Inspiring, sensually written and easeful integration of fragrance as energy medicine combined with other vibrational tools including color and gem stone traditions.

The information is valuable.

Excellent book! I'm so tired of being 'preached to' by superficial people who want you to carry their cross for them instead of learning to live in God's love for themselves and be independent. The author has an enlightened soul that is so refreshing, a gentle healing spirit that guides and doesn't enslave. I wish I knew more people with such manners!!!!!

Great book. I needed it for a class and really like the way it goes into depth and the charts are wonderful. I had mine wire bound and added a plastic cover at Staples as I anticipate great use.

This book is an incredible fountain of wisdom by Valerie and yet the publisher decided to put black and white photos of images that have no explanation of the difference between the pictures. A friend of mine had the same book with beautiful coloured photos, which to my disappointment aren’t to be found in the copy I received.

En lisant VAW j'ai appris que pour l'intronisation d'Elisabeth d'Angleterre, on a employé un mélange d'huiles de néroli, rose, cannelle,jasmin, benjoin ,musc, civet,ambre gris dans de l'huile de sésame,et une cuillère en or fabriquée en 1200...!! interesting book to add to my collection

If the author reads this, then I apologise to her in advance for the one star rating. Blame the publishers, not the author. I ordered this book, believing it to be one new to me but when it arrived today, it turns out to be The Fragrant Heavens, republished. It states this on the cover; however, though this does appear on the thumbnail picture shown on the page here, the writing is far too small to read. Nowhere in the blurb does it mention that it is an existing book republished under another title (I assume for the American market as they seem to have very different requirements for book titles such as the first Harry Potter being retitled removing the word Philosopher's and replacing it with Sorcerer's) The original book The Fragrant Heavens is a treasured and well-thumbed book in my collection.
