Excellent stickiness and the thickness of the silicone pad really does keep the door handle off the wall. Excellent value for money too. It blends in nicely because it is totally see-through. Great little item.

We recently had our bathroom fitted and as part of the work the wall behind the door was tiled. It looked great, but as soon as we opened the door fully we heard a "clunk" and realised that the metal door handle was now hitting the fancy new tiles we'd had installed. Some kind of door stop was needed, but we didn't want to drill into either the tiles or the nice new floor, so we needed another option. For a while we used a wedge behind the door, but it kept being knocked out of the way resulting in the handle hitting the tiles again, so another approach was called for. What you get is a plastic sheet with six transparent rubbery bumps stuck to it, in a plastic bag. Peel one of the bumps off the backing sheet, press it against the wall, and you're done. The bumps aren't actually sticky, but they do seem to hold somehow. I'm using two, one on the tiles in the bathroom and one on a papered wall in the kitchen, and so far, after a few weeks, neither have fallen off or slipped. I'm not entirely sure how they work as they're not adhesive at all, and the product page here indicates that if they do fall off you can wash and dry them and they'll work once more. I have noticed that if I look closely at the one in the bathroom I can see that the edges do seem to have lifted a little as there appears to be a colour difference - white in the middle where the stopper is firmly against the wall, and darker around the edge where it has peeled away - but every few days I just press onto it and it looks uniform again. As they're clear though, they're the kind of thing you could stick to the wall and nobody would notice it was there unless you pointed it out. How long will they last? No idea, but as I said neither has fallen off or slipped yet, and they're both stuck to different surfaces (smooth, glossy tile in the bathroom, textured wallpaper in the kitchen). At the moment we're happy with them, and it's certainly preferable to having to drill into nice new tiles or flooring.

Bought as the previous owners of our house had ill fitted a bathroom cabinet which isn't going to be easy to move and the handle kept hitting the wall when it was opened. As its clear it's not noticeable and stops the handle from potentially damaging the wall. Great price and self adhesive was strong.

These work really well, very easy to use.
