I am on a journey to archive 50 year old 35mm slides by digitizing. I needed to group slides by dates before scanning, etc. I found that a single , one-at-a-time slide viewer just took forever and then I would lose track of the dates once I removed, etc.So, I tried this backlit slide viewer where I can lay out 36 slides at a time and easily visualize which slides go together.The unit is attractive, well built and functional. The 3 levels of light are perfect for viewing and the USB hook up is convenient. The unit was delivered the day after order placed.

This was very helpful in using my phone to digitize some very old 2.25 slides that were my father in laws from more than 50 years ago.

This is easy to use and cost effective. I bought it to use with a negative scanning app and it works fine. The three levels of brightness are excellent.

Plenty of light to do the job on 3 settings. Made two modifications--Taped a ruler across it to make slides square to begin with and allowed the unit to be angled. If you intend to do a lot of slides laying the unit flat is hard on your back. I also made a small jig to hold the cellphone. It was hard to get good focus on the iPhone when phone was hand-held. Unit itself was a good buy.
