SR Suntour Hard NCX Seat Post Spring (PKE100-20)

Just got back from an hour ride on my Cannondale eBike with the NCX seatpost with heavy spring installed. Very impressive ride quality on urban streets. I weigh about 230 lbs and the heavy spring allows to set the proper sag without over compressing the spring. I had no problem with bottoming out on crummy pavement.

I could not find anyone selling the Suntour NCX seat post with teh heavy spring already installed. For me teh upgrade is required. Seems to work well. Some fine tuning of preload is required.

I'm over 180# and the medium tension spring that came with the Suntour seat post worked for me. When I upgraded the spring to match my body weight, the seat post worked even better. While both the medium and hard springs work, I found the medium spring to be a little harsher over the bumps and the hard spring a little gentler over the bumps for my weight. Spring is what it says it is😊 looks to be of good quality. Still waiting to source a seat post to use it with, my first one had delivery issues. Ordering one locally now from new supplier.

The spring that comes with the seat post is a little light for someone 190lbs. I installed this and adjusted the preload. This is a lot better at smoothing out all but the biggest bumps and pot holes.
