What is the difference between what the serum does vs. What the moisturizing gel does?

Serum is lighter and more on the liquid side than the moisturizer. You are also suppose to put the serum on then the moisturizer because the moisturizer kinda sits on top of your skin while the serum “soaks” in. Sometimes I do both sometimes I only do the serum or I do the moisturizer. Can’t go wrong either way, they are both great!

Does this set contain any animal-derived ingredients? Or is it vegan?

Hi! I too care about if this is vegan. I contacted Aveeno and they said although it’s not made with animal derived ingredients, they can’t promise that somewhere down the line, animals were not involved. Unfortunately Johnson & Johnson - their parent company - is not adverse to animal testing.

Does the moisturizer work on oily skin?

I have super oily skin (I am fully shiny within 1 hr of putting on makeup) and I absolutely love this stuff. It's more of a gel moisturizer, so it's very light and non-greasy feeling.
