This replacement part did not fit. the space between the handle and the spiked disc is about 1 mm too large for the part the bar is supposed to go through, so the handle does not turn. The replacement part differs from the original part in the extent of the threading. That might be the issue; I figure that I could perhaps find a washer or very thin nut to adjust this. However, in the interim I got my spirilizer working by taking the end of the handle off (just remove a screw) and use that part to replace that the analogous part of my original handle/spike unit, since the end of the handle is what was broken.

Loved that this brought back to life a tool I had used many times but suffered a stress fracture. I was poised to buy the whole set all over again but only needed the handle. Cost effective solution plied effortously!
