An unapologetic homage to the Omega Speedmaster, but also good bang for buck.
First of all, this watch is an unapologetic homage to the Omega Speedmaster. Even the case back has a "moon" motif with a rocket etched on the back. I am not going to debate the pro's and con's of the "homage" watch. I personally won't ever own an Omega. I have a Bulova Lunar Pilot that I wear most of the time. I use the PD1701 for situations and places I don't want to wear my Bulova. (Like in the pool or at the beach...etc.) But as a watch itself, the Pagani Speedy V3 is punches well above it's price point. With it's MechaQuartz Seiko movement, 1 hour chrono feature, sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, this watch provides quite a bit of bang for buck. The case finishing is competent, the ceramic bezel insert is easy to read. I did note, on one version I purchased the Bezel had Tachymeter printed instead of Tachymetre. Yes, it is a slight difference, but since the unit is purpose built to homage an Omega which spells it Tachymetre, so that might be something to consider. The bracelet has a nice mix of brushed and polished finishes, but it does have some sharp edges on it which doesn't exist on more expensive watches like the Bulova Lunar Pilot. The date window is discretely placed between 4 and 5 and does not distract from the watch. The MechaQuartz movement gives a nice satisfying smooth chronograph action. The running seconds still ticks at 1hz, but that subdial is small enough that it really doesn't distract from the watch. The supplied Pin removal tool made bracelet adjustment very easy, and eliminated the need to bring it to my jeweler for sizing. However, I don't remember seeing any documentation on how to use it, (although it's pretty self-explanatory, and can be researched on the internet). The movement itself is really the star of the show. This is a Seiko VK63 Mechaquartz movement and it really is a competent movement. Some folks could nitpick and wish for a VK67, but the VK67 only is available with subdials at 12, 9 and 6 which means it would no longer a Speedmaster Homage. Which is kind of the point of this watch. Thus the VK63 is really the only movement that can be used for this model. BTW, the Seiko VK63 on my PD1701 is outperforming my Bulova Lunar Pilot in terms of accuracy, and I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to feel about that. On one hand I'm blown away. And on the other hand I'm a little miffed my "ultra high frequency" quartz watch is getting bested by an sub $100 dollar Chinese Homage Bottom line. For what you pay, you get a very substantial and quality watch. There are some nitpicky finishing issues and things just aren't as refined as they could be. It's not an Omega. It's not a Bulova. It's not even a Seiko. It simply doesn't have the level of refinement found in those brands. But for the price, it does stand on it's own and if you have no qualms wearing an "homage watch", then I highly recommend it.

Seiko movement sets this apart
I don’t want to try to fool others into thinking I have an actual Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, even though at a glance this looks just like the Omega. I am judging it on its own build and design. The color—blue and white—is stunningly beautiful. Out of my too many watches, this is second in appearance only to my Seiko Presage. All functions work as they should, including the subdials. The movement is made by Seiko. The second hand “sweeps” rather than “ticks”, which sets this watch apart from cheaper movements. Worth a hundred bucks? That’s up to you. I would have felt better at $80, but overall I’m very pleased with my purchase. I would gladly wear more Pagani Design watches.

Very good time piece for the money...no complaints
I have several of these watches in different configurations. I love that I can leave my original 1967 Omega speedmaster moon watch in a safe place. For the money, these are a good watch. Keeps good time...less than 1 minute off over 6-7 months (then reset for dst) Very close clone to the Omega (see photo...3 Pagani design and one original Omega...can you tell the difference??) Fit and finish are very good for this price point. One of those in the photo is over a year old and worn nearly every day. I have no complaints. Bought each of my son's one...they love them. Addition: word of caution...these are only water "resistant" so not rated to be submerged or for swimming.

Excellent watch for the price
I’m not a big fan of Chinese products. Even manufactured under the auspices of European, US, or Japanese companies I always find the some issue with the manufacturing, quality inspection or design, but this is a Chinese company (Haiqin) that make an excellent product - 316L steel, ceramic bezel that seems to be engraved, Seiko Instruments movement, clear legible print for the indices, engineered rather than stamped clasp. It’s just well-made and crazy for the price. What I don’t like… First off, there is no slight bevelling on the bracelet edges so they can scratch your wrist. I fixed this myself. The other two things are not about the manufacturing of the watch, but about the movement. Seiko Instruments VK63 was used. This has the 3 o’clock sub dial as a worthless non chronograph 24 hour hand. Seiko use this in watches that they sell for $600 but VT67 has a useful 12 hour Chronograph sub dial instead. This would have been really useful. The date window is perfectly positioned but the printing is not bright enough for low light conditions. The calendar wheel comes with the movement so this is a Seiko thing. Other than these minor points, I have no idea how they make such a fabulous watch for the money. Put the Swiss to shame.

Great dress watch.
Great affordable dress watch. Big fan of the moon watches and this brings that look.

Blue AR coating is distracting. Strap is only long enough for small wrists.
The blue AR coating is cloudy and too blue at certain angles. At other angles the blue disappears and it’s a great looking watch. The chrono works great. When the chrono is reset, the seconds hand returns to top dead center every darned time, and I use it daily. So, the watch head works perfectly. The supplied stitched sailcloth strap is comfortable and very good looking. The problem with the strap is that it is only barely long enough for my 6.75” wrist. If my wrist was any bigger, the strap would not have been long enough to engage both keepers. So if you have a small wrist, and very blue AR over a black dial doesn’t bother you, this may be OK for you. If you can tolerate the strap and the blue AR, this Pagani provides a big name experience for small bucks. Whatever you do, do not buy a Pagani PD1701 with the bracelet unless you plan to replace their bracelet with something else. I got two and the bracelets on both had razor sharp edges all over. I put a brown leather strap on one, and a black tropical rubber strap on the other. Both of those have the white dial.

Gorgeous piece
Gorgeous piece. Does not feel cheap at all. So far it's keeping time accurately. Got a good weight to it and did I say it looks sexy?

Amazing watch !!
Had this Speedmaster on my list for some time but I finally decided it’s time to buy it. Ok, so it’s not the original Speedmaster… and I’m also not bringing home a 6 figure paycheque to drop 7 grand on the actual Speedmaster. But I got to admit, for $135 this one is an amazing watch. I only had it for 2 days so there are some pros & cons I can write about. Pros: the crystal has AR coating, very legible white hands & hour markers on black dial, SS case, 5 link solid SS bracelet held together by push pins, diver’s extension, 60 min chronograph with sweeping central secondhand, screw in signed crown Cons: the luminous material on the hands and hour markers is weak and not visible at all after about 15-20 min, although the bracelet is very nice and comfortable, the side edges are sharp / unfinished. Also, the description mentions the watch as being 100 meters waterproof but then it’s not suitable for bathing, swimming & diving. If that’s true, then the watch is not 100 meters waterproof but maybe 30 or max 50 meters. Since I haven’t taken the watch into water yet, can’t confirm nor deny the above claim. All in all, at this price point, I’d say this watch is worth the money.

Great Watch. Substandard Bracelet
It's a great watch. The finishing on the case is excellent. However, the edges on the stainless steel bracelet are quite sharp and the clasp is uncomfortable. I recommend going with the rubber strap option if possible. Also, the watch I received was not as pictured. The tachymeter scale has dash markings all the way around instead of the dots.
