I've been using this strop for more than a year. It has held up very well and with a little practice brought my sharpening to a new level. I’ve never used one of these before so I don’t know what to expect. It seems to work very well to fine polish the blade edge, my first 4 knives seemed amazingly sharp

This is an excellent quality product for the best price I've seen so far it comes with three pieces of grit While others come with only one or even none I would buy this again and again Update: I just finished reading the instructions on how to use the Strop and they are terrible so I had to take off one star it would have been nice if they can include pictures of what they were talking about the beginner would never be able to figure this out thankfully there's YouTube to show me how to do it

Great paddle strop! Great quality and value! I especially love the thick leather, it must be 8-9oz quality tanned leather as its thicker than most other paddle strops I've purchased and I enjoy how it feels under the blade. It also is one of the few paddle strops (maybe the only one) that comes with all 3 polishing compounds, most only include the green. I would certainly purchase again, again and again! Oh wait, I have already purchased this one many times!

I like to keep my knives sharp. I have a very fine stone that gets a knife sharp enough to satisfy most people but I want more. I use compound on the rough side then use the smooth side for final polishing. This is a good quality strop. It is sturdy. The leather is nice and thick. The smooth side is very smooth and is perfect for giving my knives that last little bit of sharpening that I like. I can’t match a knife that has been professionally sharpened but I can get pretty darn close. I recommend and would buy again.

Works as i hoped it would

I was looking for a good quality product after spending over $60 and got the parcel yesterday. The product is fake leather that hasn’t been glued down properly with rough edges and leather is peeling off. The wood used to make it (if you can call it that) is lightweight and has a crack in the handle. The product is not comfortable to use with splinters and sharp edges. Tried using this product yesterday, it sent my knives blunt and gave me splinters in my hands. Not impressed.

Works . Chalks Abit tough to apply but once done able to use as adverstised
