The same stuff I used to get where I grew up
WOW! Am I glad I found this! For years, I've had to deal with the bottled sauces I could find in the northern Los Angeles area. I grew up in NY, and it took decades to find this! THIS is the authentic taste, texture, and thickness I grew up with! Dai Day Duck Sauce sweet and sour, along with finally finding an authentic (at least by NY standards) It's sweet, but not cloying, and has the exactly right amount of background spicing. Chinese mustard, and I can enjoy Chinese (or American Chinese) appetizers again!. And, it's fantastic on chicken wings and ribs, too! I VERY much wish the ingredients didn't include High Fructose Corn Syrup, but it's not like I'm eating a ton of it. Which is too bad, because the jar is huge! LOVE IT!
