Vertical bike storage rack

These bike hooks are sturdy and hold my kids bikes securely without any wobbling. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the hardware included worked perfectly in my garage. I like that the design keeps the bikes up off the floor and saves a lot of space. The rubber coating also helps protect the rims from scratches and the wall as well. Overall, it’s a solid and affordable way to organize bikes in the garage.

Great hangers easy install only complaint is they didn’t come with anchors for drywall mounting. Besides that a quick trip to the hardware store and my bikes are up and off the ground and aesthetically they look great.

These hangers are sturdy and well built. I’ve got four bikes hanging from them in my garage now, and will add a fifth as soon as the final hanger is delivered tomorrow. The hooks don’t move - thus as several reviewers have noted, the top screw (nearest the hook) is hard to put in because the hook blocks access with a screwdriver or electric drill. I drilled a pilot hole into the cleat I mounted on the wall, then used a small hex head screw instead of the deck screws provided. I tightened that screw into place with a small wrench. BTW, I would strongly recommend against using the provided drywall anchors. Screw into a stud or a wooden cleat that’s screwed to the wall instead. Also, as others have pointed out, the deck screws that come In the package are cheap and made of soft metal. Substitute better quality screws, drill pilot holes, and you’ll have a better time putting these on the wall. My only criticism of these hangers is that if you use them to hang multiple bikes side by side, you’ll need to leave enough room between them to jockey a bike to the right when putting it up or taking it down. If your bikes are hung too close to one another, you’ll hit the bike beside the one you’re moving as you hang it or take it down. I have the hangers up sixteen inches apart, and then hang the bikes alternating between handlebars up and handlebars down. This is a little tight, but definitely navigable. All in all, these hangers are sturdy and I love how they create more floor space in my garage!

This review is for the hanger itself and not the screws, but that being said, a thought on the screws. If anything, the 2" fine threaded Philips headed screws provided are overkill. Even if you are installing on 1/2" drywall, you still have 1 1 /2" of fine threads to twist into the stud. Since my installation was directly on the wall stud for now, I used 1 1 /2" , course threaded, T20 Star headed screws, left over from another project. Another option would be to use drywall screws. DO NOT use screws provided without drilling a starter hole first. The hanger: Very solid! With holes for 4 screws, it won't move once properly installed. I noticed on some reviews, people were having issues installing the top screw. Maybe the design was changed after these reviews, but the hook on my plates were welded at an angle to the back plate, allowing for EZ installation of the top screw over the top of the hook with my cordless drill. I went with the suggestion of another reviewer, and used a strap to carry the weight of the bike, taking the load off the rim and/or spokes. In my humble opion, something to be included from the manufacturer for a buck more. Strongly suggest you use a strap if your installation DOESN'T have the back tire of the bike resting on the floor. As other reviewer pointed out; once properly strapped, the front rim floats on the hook, not making contact. Bill G. Also, I found it much easier to tie the front wheel to the frame when BOOKING the bike. Getting hit in the with the handlebar brought that idea to lighf!

Very sturdy, super easy install! They made it even easier by putting a sticker for each one to place on the wall that marks the holes you need to drill. Clever and super convenient!

I already had 2 of these bike mounts, purchased several years ago from another website. There were several brands/sellers on Amazon that all looked just alike so the design is being used by many manufacturers. I cant say for sure why I picked this one over any of the others, but I did and these are my opinions on what I received. Absolutely bare basics....... there were 2 mounts, each wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap and then taped together to keep them as 1 unit. This was placed in a bubble lined envelope, not a box, but an envelope. I dont feel that is the safest method for 2 oddly shaped metal objects to be shipped. They each included 4 screws but no instructions at all on how to mount them. I cant vouch for the strength of the screws as I did not use them. I mounted mine to a concrete block wall in the garage and used Tapcon screws. The mounts themselves are exactly as they appear and they function well for hanging your bikes to the wall. If you are handy at mounting things and are buying just for the racks themselves with no other expectations, then you will be happy with your purchase.

Sturdy enough for my 27.5+ hardtail. Hardware is solid and comes with a sticker guide to making mounting a breeze.
