Great security camera
This security camera is unbelievable for the price. I'm a 68 year-old woman and it took minutes to install and connect. The color, clarity of videos and sound are perfect. I don't understand the issues some people report as it's fairly simple if you take the time to read the instructions and poke around the app to experiment with settings. I've had another one of this same camera for over a year and it did stop working but the issues getting it back up were on me. I played around with it and it's as good as new. The battery last around a month on both cameras, even the one over a year old. It's been through blizzards, storms and extreme temperatures for over a year and still works like new. I did get the subscription for unlimited devices. It's only $12.99 a month, ffs. That's more than worth the piece of mind it provides. With the subscription, it has clear, continuous monitoring and spells out in writing what someone is wearing, the color of their clothing, what they're holding, if anything, and what they're doing Even on limited income I can justify the expense for what it provides.

I am incredibly impressed with this product! I feel so much safer.
For the very affordable price, this camera is unexpectedly amazing. I have never owned a security camera before. This seemed like a good, basic starter camera. It was easy to download the app and set the camera up. The app is intuitive, and I haven’t run into any problems with it. The app itself seems very well designed. The camera quality is very clear. Night vision is very good as well—last night it even notified me at 3 am when a raccoon walked across my yard. It wasn’t even super close to the camera! I included a picture of the camera view during the day and at night. I love that I get notified on my phone whenever it senses activity. There have been a few times where it sensed activity/recorded/notified me, but there wasn’t actually anything going on in the video. However, this does not bother me, as I would rather the motion sensor be overly sensitive than not sensitive enough/miss things. I didn’t know you could even speak into the camera from your phone—honestly so cool!! I am so impressed with everything about this camera. It truly makes me feel more safe/secure. Especially because it notifies my phone when I’m out of the house if there is any activity in the camera. So far, this product is a 10/10 for me, I would highly recommend it. I am considering buying a second one for my back door. This camera was everything I wanted in a security camera, plus even more extra features that I wasn’t expecting (like speaking into phone to play on the camera speakers). I have no regrets about this camera so far. Although I’ve only had it set up for 4 days, so I can’t speak on the longevity of the product. But as of now, I am super happy with my purchase. Edit: About 2 months later, I felt the need to update my review with my current thoughts. I was really hoping that this camera would continue to work, and good news—This camera is still AMAZING. I actually still haven’t had to charge it since I wrote my original review, which is sort of insane because it’s been constantly on ever since I purchased it. I am so impressed with the battery life. I literally don’t have a single negative thing to say about this camera. It works so perfectly. I get notified on my phone the second something pops up on the camera. The app is great, and lets you go back and rewatch recorded events/download them to your phone. I haven’t had any sort of glitches or problems with the app whatsoever. This has genuinely been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon lol. The peace of mind it gives me is so wonderful. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a great security camera. 10/10 purchase EDIT #2: It's been 7 months since I purchased this. It still works just like it did when I bought it! I'm really impressed by this, as so many products out there start to break down over time. But not this one! (at least so far lol). This has been a good investment. The battery life is still great, the app still works well, the picture quality is still great, and I still feel safer because of it! I like it so much that I came back and made a second edit to my review. Lol.

Awesome, Inexpensive Security camera that doesn't Require a Subscription
This product works great - I have ordered multiple times to place in different areas. Connecting to wifi is easy simple. The video quality is sharp and not only does it pick up audio and allow you to talk through its built in speaker, but it also has a night-vision mode as well as an alarm you can trigger. Customer service is great too - I misplaced the mounting gear for one of the cameras and the vendor sent me a replacement mount and screws at no charge.

If you want to have some reasonably priced cameras that can handle extreme temps, this could work.
I've had this for...a year and a half. Battery life is pretty solid. Camera quality is good enough, sound is pretty good. Range for picking up wifi is pretty good. It functions and is right at the outer range of what I have at home. I haven't tested out much of the bells and whistles though, but seems like they should all work. The only thing I am not big on is that there will be times when it just acts like something is there and I have no idea if it's a shadow with the wind, if it's that tree branch over there, if some squirrel is lurking and trying to be sneaky. That's not the end of the world, but I had a day where this thing was pinging my phone all day as if the boogey man was messing around outside. Outside of that, things connected smoothly and I haven't had any issues. The only issue with the app is that they will ask you to sign up for their paid service now and again. Also, this thing does not like being inside looking out through glass. Tried it in a couple different windows and it did not function well. It turned on, but you were 99% of the time not going to see outside. Not sure on having it in the actual elements. I have mine outside under the soffits, so it gets the cold and heat, but doesn't get wet.

RED ALERT: If you want a security camera, this isn't the one
UPDATE: One of the cameras was stolen recently. No way of tracking where it went. Our wired system caught a guy wearing all black; we have an idea who it was. Customer service was useless on deactivating the camera. The footage for the previous 12 hours was wiped. Their suggestion that no one has access to footage and reporting this $40 PoS device to the police was laughable. All you have to do is download the app, enter any email address and you are good to go. I never received an alert that the camera was registered to a new email or connected to a different wifi even though it has its own unique S/N and QR Code. I can go around and get free cameras whenever I want; so much for security. I purchased four of these cameras and had been using them for almost two years. The biggest red flag is they work when they feel like it which isn't what you want in a security camera. Connectivity: I had multiple issues with the cameras connecting or staying connected. Customer service (probably somewhere in India or the Phillippines) claimed it was my internet service company. I have switched to three different companies and created a 2.4g connection each time just for the cameras. Each time, I have ended with the same results. Many instances I had to reboot my router since customer service claims there is no wi-fi service. Pretty interesting assumption when all other wireless devices had no issue staying connected and I was receiving their messages. Offline: Frequently the cameras go offline for hours at a time especially during evenings in my time zone. Customer service blamed it on their AWS connection or an incoming update. I do not care what the issue is, these are being advertised as security cameras. There is no security if they are functioning like dummy cameras. They were never able to provide a real solution. They stated I should have placed the router closer to the cameras. I am constantly connected with all other devices even when I am hanging out on the rooftop garden/patio without any hiccups. Recording: I had the setting programmed for max duration with the minimum intervals. I frequently saw 1 second clips in the app which did nothing except take up cloud space. The interval recordings I saw varied drastically which made no sense since it was programmed to a set time. This is accurate for all of the cameras. Customer service tried to claim that this was not a frequent issue...it was. App: It is full of bugs and needs to be overhauled. If you want to view recordings from several hours earlier, it either force stopped or lagged so much that you are forced to close the app. In order to get there, you have to literally scroll each time which is pretty crazy if the current time is 20:00 and you want to view a recording from 3:00. To view several recordings is a job in itself. It literally took more than 15 minutes of my time just to view 5 or 6 recordings. If you have a security guard career in your horizon, perhaps this would be excellent practice. Live View: It does not record if you are viewing live events. It also takes at least 30 seconds to one minute to get to the live view - that is if the app does not force close. At this point, you might as well get up, put your clothes on and go see what is causing the issue. Overall, I would not recommend these cameras for security purposes. If you want to use them as a nanny, granny or pet cam, these might do the trick. If you are looking to catch some crime in progress, don't bother with these. You are better off with a wired system even though most have a monthly fee. This is the route I ended up taking after many frustrating hours of lost time.

Few months of use, overall a really solid wireless camera that works well without a subscription
Edit: 06/04/24 Decided to try out the basic plan for a month out of curiosity. I'm likely going to go back to the free plan as it doesn't seem to add much value, but wanted to highlight a couple of cool features that I'm seeing from that The app has a couple of different plans that you can go with from a gen 2 AI plan to basic, to their previous premium plan, so I'm simply doing the basic plan. It's pretty good at being able to detect people. It's also really nice in terms of being able to add tags to notifications of what you actually want to get notified about vs things you simply don't care about It seems bad though at detecting packages at ground level (so think on the same level) I got a notification for it one time, but haven't really seen it for any other time I've had packages delivered. If my camera was facing above, I don't think this would be a problem Otherwise, I don't really see the feature as being too useful at least in my case outside of getting rid of annoying things that happen in general with this camera's notification setup that I've mentioned before. The battery life is still superb and does go a really long time without needing a charge where sometimes I'll even forget about it. The reason why notifications matter is that when the camera is sending you data to the cloud or locally, it drains more battery out of the camera to do this action, which is why when your on the free plan this can be a problem as it can active by leaves blowing by it, so some days I'll have the camera actually go to sleep to prevent notification spam. Wanted to wait a couple of months of actual use to see how the product works without buying a subscription for it. Overall at least for my use case I think that this was a really solid purchase, given that I grabbed it on sale for $20 dollars during black friday holidays. Without subscription - I can purchase a SD card separately to save recordings to a physical device that does not capture my data onto the cloud - I get night vision mode on the camera to view stuff at night if I wanted too - 1080p is actually really solid in my opinion for quality. People overhype 4k; the image is good enough at 1080p, but if you wanted the best quality I'd personally recommend going with 2k. Images beyond 2k will start to have diminishing returns, as the human eye doesn't see much of a difference past 2k. - When people show up at my door I get notifications around 5 seconds of the interaction. This is fine for my use case, but I'd recommend looking elsewhere if that delay is not good enough for your case - I can live view my camera feed to see in real time what's going on. - On an uncharged camera in a resident that gets low volume of traffic (think the occasional delivery man visit, food delivery person coming once a day), I was able to get the camera to last a full month and a half on a 50% charge. What will absolutely kill your battery however is the weather. On non subscription mode, since you don't have the ability to tell it to only notify you of human detection, it will go off on any motion thats on the camera. Windy weather will trigger this the most, however on these days I simply turn off my camera feed, but should be something to be aware of if you go the no subscription route - I can set alarms on the camera to go off I wanted - I can talk through the camera on a live feed, and also get the audio back as well You can get this camera with a subscription to add in Intelligent features that will mainly affect it's notification for motion. I would consider this option if you want to place the camera in a high traffic area like the front of your house of a busy culdesac or you don't want to deal with notifications from the weather. I don't really recommend putting this in your home, primarily because even with an SD card it seems to still upload recordings to the cloud. If privacy is a concern, I personally don't recommend the camera

Bought one, bought two more.
Exactly what i was looking for and excellent quality for the price! Bought one and then bought two more. Super easy setup and the sound and video quality is great. So far the durability has been amazing even in wind, rain, snow, and extreme cold. I also appreciate the fact that i get night vision on a camera of this price. Great budget security option.

Honest non compensated review
I ordered 2 of these cameras based off reviews. I put one on the house aimed at my driveway. And I put one out underneath my mailbox aimed at the street. House mounted camera is to capture people coming to driveway/front door area. Mailbox mounted is to capture vehicles/people passing by the front of the house on the street. We recently had porch pirates hit a house in our cul de sac, so wanted security. Without breaking the bank and had to be wireless to put a camera by the street. Used them frequently now over 1 month…. Set-up/Install: EASY for non techies. Even my dad could do it. And Engrish is his 2nd language. The videos make it easy or just follow the paper instructions included. Mounted firmly to my house(wood) and the mailbox(wood) using screws included. Pros: 1. Video quality is great in both daylight and night. C’mon for a $40 camera. Didn’t see a huge difference in HD vs. SD! 2. The App interface is easy to use. iPhone user here. The more you play around with it, the more efficient you’ll become to it and its quirks. It does a great job of alerting you when it has detected motion and recorded. About 2-3 seconds from when I stepped into the camera range to get an alert on my phone. Lots of features you can turn on and off. 3. WIRELESS. Obviously not having wires is a huge plus for keeping it incognito. And not having to run wires 20 yards from my house to the mailbox. 4. Batteries last a long time!! Obviously my street cam drained faster since it is more active. It was down to 30% after a month!! My house cam is still at 56% after a month. Way longer than I expected. It is slow to charge though. When I first got them. They were at 80%. Took 2 hours to get to 100%. 10% an hour. 5. Wifi range is pretty good! My street cam is about 25 yards from the house. I have a wifi extender in the middle of the house. Signal strength is “Good”. My house cam obviously is only about 10 yards from the house. Signal strength is “strong”. Signal strength plays a huge part in the delay/lag for watching LIVE and connecting to the cameras. And downloading videos. Street cam has a 2-3 second delay when I do jumping jacks in front of it while watching on my phone. For the house cam it is less than a second delay. Imagine if you have a “weak” signal, the video will be bad. 6. Has a micro SD slot. I put 512mb cards in both cameras. So, essentially recorded videos are stored both on the cloud and to the card. Nice to have both options. I’ll talk about this more later. 7. Free cloud storage. I’ll talk more about this later. NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED! All video clips on the cloud can be downloaded to your phone with one click. 8. You can watch live at anytime. And hit record or snap a photo. It saves only to your phone. 9. You can press talk on the app and talk through the camera and hear the other party talk. 10. You can control multiple cameras on one app. 11. There’s an alarm button you press on the app to scare people. It’s not super loud to annoy the neighbors, but enough to startle perpetrators. Cons: 1. The 5-7 second delay when an object goes by the camera to when it starts recording. I’ll talk more about this later. Why that is! 2. Only records 20 seconds of video at a time. I’ll talk more about this later. 3. Once it is done recording the 20 second clip when it detects motion, there’s a 1 minute “cool down” period before it’ll record again. 4. Audio recording is not the best. It can be distorted at times. 5. The motion detection range is only about 15 feet from the camera. Not bad, thought it would be larger. 6. With all cameras at night, license plates are blurred out(white out) because of the reflective material they are made of. There is no fix for this. I’ve looked on YouTube and online. This cameras only records one of two ways. When you have Motion Detection On. It will record the clip to the cloud service and to the SD card(if inserted). Or when in live mode, if you hit record, it ONLY records to your phone. No option to record to the cloud or SD card. All right. If you want the CONS I listed above(except 4)to be pro’s. You will want the upgrade and pay for the subscription. $47.49 a year for one camera. $105.99 a year for 2+ cameras. Or go month to month. $4.49 a month for 1 camera. $9.99 a month for 2+ cameras. There is a 30 day free trial. Which I used to test the differences between using the camera to its full potential with the subscription. Versus basic, no subscription. In a nutshell, it works without the subscription. But, you are very limited on the features. The 5-7 second delay once it detects motion to actual recording is HUGE. I tested that delay. I ran from the street to my door, simulating a porch pirate. About 15-20 yards. With the delay, I was already running back to the street by the time it started recording. You obviously will increase the chance of missing seeing the face. Buying the subscription, there is ZERO delay. It records immediately once motion is detected. Without the subscription, it only records 20 seconds of video. Remember, after it is done recording that 20 sec clip, there is a 1 minute cooldown. Before it will record again. You will lose valuable footage of any event occurring. With the subscription, you get 3 full minutes of footage. The 1 minute cooldown still occurs. Without a subscription, the free cloud storage of your videos are held for only 3 days. With the subscription 60 days. Using the micro SD card. Here are a few tips. Only use a name brand SD card. The app does let you know how much memory is being used. Viewing clips stored on the SD card via the app is a bit quirky versus viewing the same stored clip on the cloud. It’s a little cumbersome. Once the SD card is out of memory. It will delete the oldest clip and record the new clip automatically. I like that it doesn’t stop and require you to manually delete old clips to make room. You can’t choose and delete individual clips stored on the SD card. It’s delete all or none. Clips stored on the cloud however, you can select and choose what clips to delete. Clips on the SD can’t be downloaded to your phone with a click(like clips on the cloud) You have to view the clip you want and manually click “record” while viewing the entire clip. It is very cumbersome. The best way to put it is, the camera is a tease without the subscription. Will it work fine without the subscription?! It may if you are using it to view your pet or as a nanny camera in live mode!! If you are using it for home security and hoping if something happens it’ll record the whole process…..You will be disappointed without buying the subscription. It’s most likely going to miss things occurring with the delay periods and short recording times. Update: I added a solar charger for both cameras. GAME CHANGER!! My street cam, gets A LOT of action, so the batteries drained within 2-3 weeks. Which isn’t all that bad considering. But, it’s cumbersome to detach the camera, bring it inside and charge for a day. So, I tried a $19.99 compatible solar charger for my street camera. It hasn’t dropped below 95% in the 4 weeks. Even on a cloudy days(Oregon here: rains 364 days of the year lol). I went ahead a bought one for the porch camera as well. After 2 months….NO REGERTS ; p I’m pretty confident in saying, I’m not going to ever need to pull the cameras off line to charge. I still haven’t bought the subscription. But, still happy with the cameras after 8 months now. It did help us capture the homeless guy going through our neighborhood and rummaging through the garbage and recycling bins taking cans.

Quality
At this price point, works just fine. Only problem is that is the WIFI requires 2.4 GHz instead of the 5 GHz. Not sure why it's like this. The camera cant transmit on the 5 GHz.
