I was expecting my first cup of this Chaga tea to taste like an old sock. The smell when I opened the bag was strong. I was so pleasantly surprised. I love the warm goodness and it taste delicious to me! I love herbal teas. I recently also purchased Olive leaf tea. Now that one is bitter so instead of by itself I make it in a small pot with a bag of Tulsi tea with it. But seriously, this Chaga tea is going to always be present in my pantry.

Tea has a smooth taste. Good product.

Although it looks alittle like dirt, there is no flavor. I like it, you can just add juice or different tea to add flavor and still get nutrition from the mushroom tea.

I normally get another brand but the price of this one made me want to give it a try. The taste is fine, it's just the bags are crumpled up like a piece of paper, and when you pick one up, you get the brown dust of the mushrooms on your hands and countertop. I use these for my kombucha tea. The mess is worth only paying half the cost of Baikal. If I were serving to a house guest, it would pay the extra cost for the better bags.

I love chaga tea. I have no idea what is inside these bags, but it has no taste, only color. I tried one bag and two bags at once - same result. Potentially it is harmless, just be aware that this thing adds zero taste to water.
