Not 1/18 scale Not IR
Main reason for only 2 stars is the description of the product. It is NOT 1/18 scale the length and width work out 2 about 1/22 scale. I checked the product size before purchase and checked it against other brand names (this tank can be found in various specs by at least 3 othe suppliers) so new what to expect, but if you dont check you maybe dissapointed by the size. Also this is described as an IR tank on the Amazon Supdex info, but there is nothing in the instructions that indicates this is correct and I cant see an IR system on the tank, so think this is not the case. Being picky an M1A2 Abrams should have 7 road wheels not 6. I have got this tank for a 6 year old, but will not be giving him the BB pellets for the gun. The gun is quite powerfull and could hurt pets. Had the tank not been missleading in description I would have given it a higher score. As a toy tank it would be quite entertaining for a child, everything seemed to work correct, the battery box is a bit of a fiddle, and it would have been better if it had a charge port fitted to the tank to avoid haveing to keep taking the battery out. With care using the remote it can be driven slow, but the remote is rather coarse in its control. Had it been described correct my score would have been 4 stars.
