All 4 of my cats love this toy, they especially like the sound of the crinkle paper when I swish it in the air. They even come running from the backyard when they hear it being played with inside with the inside backdoor open. It's been a favorite since my son's wife bought on back from Japan years ago. The only thing NOT good about it is that the string can wear out and break easily since it's so thin. But it gives it a special flair for flight during play time. It is a bit pricey too unless you can find a good price, which I have. And I've found that it can take up to a month to receive when I order 2 or more, but get it in normal delivery time (2 days) when I order 1 at a time. But overall, every cat I've had/have loves it, so I always make sure to have 2 on hand.

Ive bought this thing like 6 times now over the course of three years because of how much my cats love this. My cats go crazy for this, they will carry it to wherever I am and wait for me to play with them. My semi feral cat never played with any toys I got for her but she goes crazy for this one, she constantly pesters me to play 24/7 with the toy. It gets destroyed every 6 months from how much they play with it, sometimes lasting less. The fluff on the toy gets destroyed first because they pull it off but the rest of it is built pretty well.

My girls are not easily impressed and picky on top of that. I'm pretty surprised how much they both love this toy, to the point they try to bully each other over access to it! I only wish (1) I purchased two and (2) I had a motorized stand or mount to place them in, because my stamina is not as great as theirs! Buy it, your cat will love it. If you have multiple cats, buy more!

My cat loves this toy so much. He is an 18+ pound cat who plays pretty rough and the toy has held up well over the past couple of months. He only recently broke off the wings but it’s still his favorite. If your cat is big, likes to hunt/chase toys and likes a crinkle this is great.

My kitten loves this toy. The problem I have with it is the string it comes on. It twists and knots very easily. It got wrapped around her leg and I needed help to remove it. It would be great if the bumble came as a separate attachment without the rod.

My cats love the sound of the cellophane wings on this toy as I pull it through the air. One of them could play with it all day! I knew the toy would be a big hit. No surprise there. What has surprised me is how well it has held up under rough play. I don’t leave it out for my cats, but it still takes some abuse from their teeth and claws. After weeks of fun, It still has all four wings attached, and most of the pink fluffy body of the toy is still intact. So it’s very well made. The only thing I would change is the cost. Still, the hours of entertainment my cats have enjoyed have made it worth the price for us!

My cat did love this toy, but after a couple of days the silk started to unravel, and I noticed that he was swallowing the end of a very long strand. I managed to get it out (ew) of his mouth and esophagus, and then I immediately snipped that part of the toy off and threw it out. I tied something safer to the wand's string, and he's still enjoying it. I am not a veterinarian, but I am pretty sure it's not safe for cats to be swallowing long, strong strands of anything. So I'd skip this one and opt for a different wand toy.

Finally! Its been several months with a depressed cat since his most favorite wand was discontinued. He likes to destroy them. This butterfly wand brought him back to life. I bought 4 just incase. I take it and hide it in cabinet when we aren't playing and first thing in morning he sits in front if it and meows til I get it out. He LOVES it. Cowboy is 3 years old.
