K&N Cold Air Intake System: High-Flow Air Filter, Increase Performance & Towing: Compatible with 2011-2023 Dodge/Jeep Durango, Grand Cherokee, 57-1563

The intake installation was a breeze. If you have the tools you need (8mm and 10mm sockets, ratchet with extension, 9/16 wrench, pliers and scissors/sheers), you are good to go. It took me about an hour between locating tools, reading directions and installation. If I had to do it again, should take 20-30 minutes now. The sound it makes now is awesome. See the before and after video I attached. The only issue I have is that I do not see a big 17bhp advertised gain in horsepower. But there surely is some. My 2012 Durango used to do 0-60 in 7.2 seconds when it had under 20k miles on it. I have a YouTube video of that. Now that it has about 70k miles, it was doing about 8.2 seconds. After I installed the intake, I see about 7.7 seconds. So, I recovered about half of the lost horsepower I had lost. I am happy enough with that. The best part is the sound it now makes and the RPM goes up much faster. Maybe a tune up will help. I also see some gain at higher speeds, but I don't have a quarter mile run numbers from my OEM intake. See Before/After pictures and video.

While the horsepower claims are not really important, especially in a vehicle like my Jeep the increase in induction noise is pleasant and the knowledge of being able to clean the filter and that it will last as long as the vehicle is a major pro. Install is simple, I'll just leave it at that. It does clean up the engine bay a good deal as well. There is a slight whistle that comes from the intake at low part throttle application, and it's not due to a leak as far as I can tell. Overall very satisfied with the performance and look. I caution anyone looking to purchase this that plans to regularly off-road their vehicle with K&N intakes, to flow more air it normally requires a slightly larger passage in the filter material which can allow dust to pass through the filter despite the oil in the filter which is prone to clogging in high dirt/dust environments. This is first hand advise coming from someone who has worked with numerous off-road vehicles.

This is my first Intake I've ever owned and installed, and I'm proudly glad to say I am satisfied. I installed the K&N intake to my 2011 Dodge Durango and oh boy does the engine sound great you can finally feel its true power performance, like the Hemi 5.7 can finally breath. The delivery was outstanding I recieved it in couple of days which is awesome right? Also the intake came in a nice size box all stuffed properly so it was easy to take out, it came with all the directions also easy installation you just need some tools and your good to go. Also they have videos on YouTube to guide you just search up on K&N. So if you made it this far reading this believe me dont think twice and purchase this Intake , yes you just found what you wanted Enjoy!!!

Product broke after 30days and I just can’t order the part that broke they want me to buy it again

Super easy to install and really made my HEMI come to life. Breathes easier and hear a lot more of that beautiful V-8 engine. Definitely recommend.

I have a 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel AWD with the Hemi 5.7 and Live in San Diego. Now every car manufacture has issues on things they should do. Putting in a better air flow system is one of them and here is why. When I received my K & N air intake system I reviewed the instructions and per-assembled most I could to make it easier during assembly. When I installed the system in just under an hour because I also cleaned my Throttle body and intake manifold as far I could (which I recommend). Looking at the manufactures system it has a big bay for the air to just sit in and not push into the air intake to give the performance required, just pure junk ! After installing the system always time for a road test. OMG ! What a difference ! I had pick up in throttle response that I did not have before. in the 4 days it has been installed I have gained about 4 miles to the gallon and the HP that the system has given has got to be 15HP or more to my guess but the sound is YUMMY. It sounds like a Hemi engine now. To sum it up, the gas savings and the Horsepower are the most important issue here. After all this and you still do not get a air intake system, then you are chocking out your vehicle. Do not lag, buy a system you will love it. Enough said........

This K&N cold air intake was super easy to install on my wife’s 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Hemi engine. I’ve put tons of intakes on other vehicles and this by far was the best with noticeable results and an awesome new sound. It doesn’t drone at all and only sounds different when you are getting on the gas pretty good. Would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Everything looked as expected. Got everything installed, only to realize that the 6" to 3.5" adapter was missing from the packaging. Part number 21512-1. So I had to undo everything I had done, and reinstall the factory air intake housing. Looked up this part and will have to pay 26 dollars for it, when it should have been included in the original packaging.
