What are little black pieces for

Those are only applicable if you have a motorcycle or bicycle that you're putting these on. They're to help valve stem attachment, but if you're putting these on a car then you can just throw those away.

Do these fit presta valves for bicycles?

There is a picture indicating that it will not fit presta valves.

Yes battery go dead quick...unless you keep unscrewing them till night time...but not worth the money.. I have not had all 4 the same color work properly yet.
