735Series Needle Valves are of the rising stem type and are designed to shut off the flow of the process media to the pressure instrument, thereby allowing the instrument to be isolated from the pressure media or removed from service. Needle valves may also be used to throttle flow and aid in dampening pulsations. Trerice Needle Valves are constructed from brass, carbon steel and stainless steel for use on a variety of pressure media. It is recommended to place a needle valve, ball valve or gauge cock in line before every pressure gauge installation. Very well made needle valve
I am using this as part of an upgrade to my RV BBQ grill. I works perfectly! (see the valve on the side of the grill). I can now control heat from a very low setting (just a low simmer) to perfect grilling temperature. No more burned meat! The valve is well made, and provides precise control.

Great flow control.
I have an outdoor water fountain and it looses water while running all day. I needed a system to add a small amount of water without running over. I tried a small plastic drip valve but the control wasn’t fine enough. This well made and hefty little needle valve works great.

Works as expected. I used this valve on the ozinator for my pool to replace the plastic ones that the pool builder used and that I had to replace about every 6 months because they would leak around the stem. Problem solved!

Junk - Leaks at a constant 20 PSI
Item came as a brass not silver valve. I was going to use this to make a simple pressure regulator gauge but with the valve leaks pretty bad. it leaks a a constant 20 lbs. The adjustment was not fine enough to even adjust increments of 20 PSI. It is essential on or off. Save you money and don't waste you time on this valve. The "China" stamp on it should have been my first indication of FAIL.
