Is this item handmade, or mass produced?

My best guess is that the pieces are mass produced. Although I’m not sure how the whisk can be produced on a mass basis as it is made from a whole piece of bamboo. The cup appears definitely mass produced.

description states it comes with Matcha powder but dont see it in details?

My set did not come with matcha powder and when I ordered the set the description also did not mention that it comes with the tea.

What is the size of the sifter?

About 3"/8cm in diameter. I can easily do one or two cups (4oz/125ml) with this kit. 3-4 is a bit tricky- one needs to make a slurry with minimal water, froth it, then add the water. Mix and pour between each cup to get a uniform mix in all cups.

Why is my whisk not blooming with warm water or hot water? I've been soaking for 10mins.

I bought this for daughter, not sure if hers is or not, they normally open up after about 2 weeks, I use them daily. I bought another set for myself and the whisk worked great, lasted about 5 months then had to buy single whisk, returned one, the second one I will keep but they both have pieces of bamboo break off into my tea. I guess a good whisk is hard to come buy

I was hesitant to purchase this tea set, as there are soo many to choose from. But I'm so glad I did! I've been using my tea set every single day since I received it. The bamboo whisk is great quality, the ceramic stand it comes with is super helpful. The siv is perfect size to sit over any cup, glass or mug. And last but not least; the tea bowl is just brilliant. So glad I went with one with the lip on the edge - way easier to transfer my matcha into my morning tea cup. So worth the money! Just a nice, decent, beginner friendly tea set! Could not recommend more!
