Yes, of course, it count cooked meal with the "foodiet" APP. Step 1: download the "foodiet" APP by scan the barcode Step 2: Sign up your account Step 3: log in and add your food name in foodiet Step 4: put your plate on the scale and then tare it, and then put your cooked food on the plate Step 5: weight the food and it would sync to the foodiet automatically. How to continuously tare?

Hi dear customer, thanks a lot for your question! This can be done as follows. Step 1: Turn on the food scale and choose unit Step 2: Place the empty container on scale, get container's weight Step 3: Press "ON/TARE" button, reading displayed as 0 Step 4: Place items into the container, get net weight, you can continuously tare without changing container Step 5: After finished measurement, press "ON/TARE" button to clear to ZERO

No, it uses large coin batteries that are disposable. Just recently got my scale so I can not tell you how long the battery lasts.

Does the app support any kind of barcode scanner?

Yes, Foodiet app can scan some food published by US Department of Agriculture. If certain food barcodes are not listed on USDA database, it will not get the food nutrition through scan. Ottimo bilancino

L'ho preso per pesare alimenti in cucina di cui le dosi medie sono sotto i 50 gr. Ecco perchè ho scelto il bilancino con la pesata max a 300 gr. Facile all'uso, dotato di peso standard per la taratura. Lo uso per pesare, lieviti freschi e secchi, sale, zucchero ecc ecc in dosi modeste. E' ovvio che se uno dovesse pesare liquidi o farine di peso prossimo alla portata massima non è consigliato. E' dotato di scala dei valori anche per once e altre unità di misura . Lo consiglio senz'altro.
