Really like these strips! They did a good job in showing the efficacy of the coolant and brake fluid in both my vehicles. Excellent way to test the newer, long-life coolants - from what I've read, the two tests are what is needed for those coolants. Found out things were in good shape, but the brake fluid was getting a little "long in the tooth" on one (which I wouldn't have guessed). Easy to read the results with the color key on the package. And each strip comes in it's own sealed foil packet, which should help with shelf life.

These test strips are great for occasionally testing coolant and brake fluid. As long as you can get them down into the liquid. It takes a couple minutes to see and compare but it works. Resealable pouch too.

My brake and coolant fluid was tested at a local service station and I was told both fluids need immediate replacement. I bought bith these test strips and a digital tester. I tested the Phoenix test strip in both my brake and coolant, the test results should both were still very good. The Phoenix test strip showed a .4% higher reading than the digital, so these test strip are very accurate and I recommend you get these and%or a digital reader to verify the honesty of the mechanic
