Is this keyboard has on board memory to store macro settings? Or, the driver has to run all the time?

There is no driver or software required to run the lights.

I got the customizing software from the havit website. the prnt scrn button stays lit up in white unless i reset to default. can you fix that?

Dear customer, Sorry for the unexpected inconvenience. How I wish to be a superwoman at this moment, so that I can fly to you and help you solve your problem. We are not sure if you open the game mode and then the print screen key is in white light. To fix your issue, you could press the FN key plus the print screen key for a try. Thank you for your understanding and waiting for your reply at“support@prohavit.com”. Sincerely, Havit

Is this keyboard coated with the rubbery stuff?

Nope. This keyboard is made with plastic that feels really good to type on. No rubber.

Can i assign colours to individual keys? say that i want the wasd buttons to have a specific colour while all the other keys with no lighting at all?

I don't think you can change the colors per key, just have the lights on or off per key. As far as I can tell, the cyan color shown is the only light color the keyboard supports.
