Mission Olive Tree Live Plant Cold Hardy

Just received my olive tree and I am thrilled at what arrived at my door. It was packed with super care and looks very healthy. It was at least two feet tall maybe more and had leaves new and established all over the top 1/2 of the sapling. I contacted the seller with various questions and she responded immediately, literally, within 1/2 hour of initial contact and with full details covering all of my queries along with others I might find useful. She also included growing instructions from time of arrival to transplant to either pot or garden with additional helpful info. This was a great transaction from start to finish. I can't recommend more. Will be purchasing more in the near future. If your on the fence about purchasing a plant online, rest at ease when buying from marthassecrets. Thanks!

My olive tree arrived in good condition. It had been carefully packed and shipped quickly. I’ve put it in a large pot while I find it a permanent home in the yard and it’s grown several inches and put on quite a few new leaves since. If it’s winter-hardy in my climate (it’s supposed to thrive in my zone) this is an absolute winner.

Clearly advertised at “18”-24” plant.” Our plant arrived and is barely 6” tall! Considering returning. It came from kauai garden. Looks healthy enough, but expected some care and transplanting instructions. Came with nothing but packing peanuts and a packing slip. This is some seriously false advertising! Even including the pot it’s only 9”. Paying $20 for a decently sized sapling is one thing, but for a sprout, it’s ridiculous.

I bought this on a whim because I love olives and I thougt it would be fun to have. I thought the price was very fair. Martha, the seller, was fantastic! Marthha was very concerned about the cold weather we were experincing in St. Louis, MO and emailed me to explain when she would be able to send the tree. Martha also provided me with specific instructions on transplanting the tree. The tree arrived with no incident. After letting the tree acclaimate in my basement for a week,I planted the tree in a pot. The tree is doing great and has new shoots/sprouts.

I was expecting little more bigger size I don’t know it will survive in the winter

A healthy plant but was advertised as 18-24" tall in a 3.5 x 3.5 x 5" pot. The plant received is 13" tall in a 2 x 2 x 3" pot. See photo.

So far has made it through the first winter, looks like it is going to make it!! I am excited to have an olive tree and hope to goodness that it will make it to maturity!! If I get olives, then I will figure out how to process them, because I heard that raw olives are poisonous. But if they can do it in Biblical times, I can do it now! Anyway - so far so good, I have had the tree for almost a year now, and live in zone 8

Beautiful Olive tree! This tree came in the exact size as described by the Seller and has already grown by leaps and bounds! I have it in a SW room with warm temperature. As a California transplant, I truly missed my CA trees and plants and this Olive tree helps me be content. Now if someone could just bring “real” mountains to the East Coast…. I’d be stylin’
