Quality
Used to wrap a custom cab light harness instead of electrical tape. It gave the harness that oem look that electrical tape could never. It’s relatively easy to get tight and it doesn’t leave that sticky mess when you remove it. Overall a great value for the price

Wish I found this sooner
The RED WOLF Wiring Harness Tape is an excellent choice for anyone looking to protect and organize automotive wiring while also reducing noise and vibration. Here's a detailed breakdown of its performance: Quality and Durability The tape is made of high-quality fabric with strong heat resistance. It holds up well under high temperatures and does not peel or degrade over time, making it perfect for automotive engine harnesses and other high-heat environments. The fabric material also resists abrasion, ensuring long-lasting protection for your cables. Ease of Use The self-adhesive backing is easy to work with, offering a firm grip that stays secure without leaving a sticky residue. It’s flexible and easy to wrap around cables and harnesses, even in tight or awkward spaces. The 3/4-inch width is ideal for precision work, and the 50-foot length per roll provides plenty of material for most projects. Noise Damping Performance One of the standout features is its noise-damping capability. When applied to wiring harnesses, it effectively reduces rattling and vibrations, resulting in a quieter and smoother ride in vehicles. This feature makes it a favorite for automotive applications. Value for Money The pack includes five rolls, which is excellent value for the price. The generous amount of tape means you’ll have enough for multiple projects, whether for automotive wiring, home electrical systems, or DIY projects. Potential Downsides While the adhesive works well in most conditions, it may lose a bit of grip if exposed to excessive grease or oil. It’s best to clean the application surface thoroughly for optimal adhesion. Overall Rating 4.8/5 The RED WOLF Wiring Harness Tape delivers on its promises of protection, durability, and noise reduction. Its heat-resistant fabric construction and user-friendly design make it an essential tool for automotive enthusiasts and electricians. The pack of five rolls is a great value, ensuring you’re well-equipped for various applications. Highly recommended!

Great tape
I used the Red Wolf wire harness tape on the ends of split braided wire loom. The tape tears easily and doesn't feel very sticky. It is easy to wrap around the wire bundle and doesn't seem to want to unwrap itself like some other tapes. But, trying to get is off is a real chore. It is almost impossible to pick the end loose and unwrap it. I have had to cut it to get it of every time. I think this is a great choice for something you want to be permanent.

Harness tape
Good quality. Easy to use and basically just like original wiring harness covering. Sticks well. Has ideal thickness. Not expensive.

good find!
this works! its a good kit for diy or automotive needs, ive used it so many times already. nice texture almost like cotton. the reason that its not getting 5* is that the adhesive does not really like to stick to anything else besides itself. also its hard to remove when you stick it to eachother

This will be replacing the use of electric tape wiring insulation for me.
Great wiring insulation wrap, slightly more rigid then electrical tape with better adhesion. Tears by hand with decent force when done wrapping wires, no need for a blade. I will definitely be ordering and using this regularly for my automotive projects.

Looks better than factory!
High quality! Looks better than factory. I just soldered in a bunch of replacement wires on an engine harness and wrapped it up with this before reinstalling. Looks great. Was easy to work with. Will use this from now on.

Hard to use, not what you think it is.
Can't open the tape, it's just solid cloth glued together, unusable and low quality by the looks of it, way too clothy. Edit: it is low quality due to being excessively clothy, difficult to start the tape initially, once started i found that it was sticky, these cloth tapes are suppose to stick to them selves, not to everything otherwise they leave a residue. If you are looking for tape similar to Tesa's merc/bmw tape, this is NOT it. This is a cheaper tape that is the same as any tape but has a clothy exterior. It does not seem like it is good for electrical applications.

Easy to use once you find the beginning of the tape on the roll!
I bought this tape to wrap wire looms on some automotive projects and I am very pleased with it overall. The tape is fabric and very flexible with good adhesion, sort of like "gaffer's" tape but thinner and softer. It wraps nicely around wire and also works on plastic wire loom/conduit material. I find it is better to work with in this application than regular vinyl electrical tape which is not as flexible. I wouldn't use this tape for insulation on bare metal wire as that is not the intended use but for wrapping coated wires or conduit it works well. My only complaint is that I found it very difficult to get the tape started off of the roll as I could not find the cut end... maybe a small fold could be added in the production to make to end easier to find?

Great for Dash Harness
I was dubious of it’s adhesion properties when I’d first started the roll, but after looming my entire dash harness, I am thrilled. Way nicer to work with than electrical tape when you’re organizing wiring branches. It sticks to itself incredibly well despite not feeling all that sticky to the touch. Doesn’t leave any gross residue behind if you need to peel it back either. As someone else had mentioned - it is a cloth tape - so I’m not sure I’d love to use it in an engine bay or anywhere that might get dusty. But for automotive interiors it’s absolutely perfect. One roll did virtually an entire dash harness out of an 80’s Japanese car. 5 rolls is plenty, and super handy to have spares around if you’re constantly tinkering. Price is also reasonable.
