I like reading pillow. It's firm and makes my back feel supported when I am sitting in bed. I do a lot of typing from my bed and my back doesn't get tired of sitting up when I use this pillow. I've tried others and my back would feel uncomfortable and strained after sitting for a couple of hours. I like that the pillow maintains it's firmness. I want to purchase one for my sofa. It's worth the money.

I bought the Husband Pillow XXL because my previous one felt more like it was made for a teenager. It worked fine, but I wanted something bigger and this was a great upgrade. This pillow is very comfortable and offers excellent back support. It is a bit bulky in the middle, but it still works well overall. I’m even able to comfortably fit two people side by side with it, which was a nice surprise. I definitely recommend using this on a larger bed. I would not suggest it for a twin-size bed at all, it would feel overwhelming in that space. The pockets on the outside are a helpful bonus and make the bulkiness more practical. Overall, it’s very supportive, well made, and worth the purchase if you’re looking for serious comfort and back support.

I have used this bed pillow for a couple months now and it has been one of thr most comfortable I've owned. I needed something with support for my neck and back. It works for both. One tip: it helps after you sit to take hold of the pillow arms and pull them forward so the pillow pulls snug against you back. I also like how the neck roll is adjustable so you can have it sit higher or lower. It makes it so comfortable though, that I can easily fall asleep watching TV in bed. I chose the light green because it goes with my bedroom decor. I also bought the medium size, since the other reviews mentioned it was good for women my height, 5' 3". The material is soft and the pillow is on the firm side. It has also maintained its shape really well. I gave it 5 stars because I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

I purchased this pillow for my recovery from surgery. It has been a fantastic product since the first day I was able to actually use it. It’s nice and big, it supports my neck and back and for a little while, it did help me sleep sitting up in bed. I also really like all the pockets it comes with for my drinks, remote, and phone. Recommended for anyone who is looking for a lounging pillow.

I am a person who loves to stay at home, in my room, in my bed. I'm often watching movies/TV on my laptop while I'm in my bed, or even working on things. I've had several of these back pillow things before, but those have been cheap ones that I get from a random store. They've never offered quite the amount of support I need, especially because they usually are not tall enough to come up all the way to my head, so I can't support my head on anything. Additionally, these are much less sturdy, and I've had some where the seams have ripped after a while. This one is a little pricier for a backrest pillow, but if you spend a lot of time reading/watching stuff/etc in bed, I definitely recommend this. It's a lot more comfortable than just trying to stack up some pillows and lean against that. In addition to this I have a very nice laptop stand that I use, and together with that it makes a perfect little office in bed! One thing I really like about this is that it has a little pillow support for your head, which you can adjust to be higher or lower depending on your preferences. The pillow is not super soft, which I like as it provides a lot of support. The arm rests are nice too. The stuff the pillow is filled with is malleable, so if you need more support in a certain area, you can sort of squish the pillow into the form you want. There is also a little pocket on one of the arm rests which is nice, as well as a pocket on the back of the pillow. The top of it has a handle which is useful for when I go to bed, I can easily put the pillow on the floor. It is a little heavier than your regular backrest pillow, probably because of the stuff it's filled with. But overall, I have been using this thing for a while now, and I definitely recommend it. Even after hours sitting in bed reading or using my phone/computer, it still provides support and comfort. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is a homebody like me, or who likes to work/read/watch TV a lot in their bed! Update Oct 2023: It has been 4 years since I purchased this back pillow. I do not regret a thing. The only negative thing that has happened is that the handle on top of the pillow broke, due to the weight of the pillow. It doesn't bother me as I just grab the pillow to put it onto the floor. But it may be something to think about if you struggle with the heaviness of the pillow. I have not tried to re-sew the handle back on as I do not need this function. But I am sure that it is possible. Highly recommend this pillow, especially if you have back/neck pain.

I'll start off with: We're keeping it.... but.... CONS: It's NOT plush foam. This arrived and was a LUMPY HARD rock. Yes, we let it air out... nearly 72 hours. No odor (which was a pleasant surprise) but that may have been because it wasn't "plush" foam as noted. We decided we had to remove some foam because it just seemed TOO stuffed and uncomfortable. I removed an ENTIRE kitchen garbage bag. Then it was a bit softer yet firm enough to sit back on. But what I found was a high % of the foam having a HARD coating/shell. (see photo.) These sharper ridges and edges must impede the contents from really molding and that's the lumpy heavier result. When you stick your hand inside, you can immediately feel all the sharper edges on every piece that had it (best way to describe it is the feel of clear packing tape. Obviously they got foam that had a coating of sort and chopped that. Absolutely not “shredded true memory foam" because memory foam doesn't have that coating on it. Maybe the ones that don't have this coating is true memory foam...but a TON of it had that coating. It also was a HUGE static mess! One might think "well that's just what foam does." Well, after removing the entire contents of the headrest pillow - I decided to fill with extra foam we some we had leftover one of the #1 selling pillows (thank goodness - otherwise, the price of this goes up or we would've returned) - and THAT foam is pure plush foam and it had NO static. Not sure why but obvious difference. So...... PROS: Now with the headrest pillow stuffing replaced, and 25% (or more) of the backrest foam removed - it's actually decent. Quite large, outer shell IS very soft. We kept the lumpy hard stuff tight in the arm rests, and the back has room for the stuffing to move now so it's not so STIFF but comfortable. So for this amount of money and considering there are lots to choose from, not sure this is worth the costs. But..it had the pockets and headrest pillow that others don't have. This also had more colors to choose from so our research led us here. I've included a photo on our King size bed for comparison. It's almost too big, daughter wants to use this on her Twin College dorm bed. Not sure it will swallow her. But only size in the color we chose and the color and pockets was our motivator for paying this price. Not the worst Amazon purchase...but not the best either.

I was determined to find a pillow that would work as a stand alone support pillow for reading or watching TV in bed. By stand alone I mean a pillow that didn’t need additional pillows placed strategically behind, beside it or around it to work. I wanted something I could relax against that supports my body ergonomically. I bought three to test after reading all their respective reviews. I have degenerative disc disease in my neck and am very active but LOVE to watch TV and read in bed. Always end up messing up my neck if I read or watch TV for any length of time unless I sit up straight, pay constant attention to my posture and don’t skooch down or slouch at all. The whole point of snuggling up in bed is to get comfy and cozy and NOT obsess about posture! We have a wooden tall headboard that is flat so need something that works with it . Two pillows came from Amazon and the third was a $200 memory foam monster with a reading light that came from a popular comfort store. This Husband pillow won hands down. It is soft but offers great support. The detachable neck roll hits perfectly behind my neck and can be adjusted a bit, heightwise, depending on user preferences. You can also remove it and put it under your knees which is a nice option. The arms are a comfortable height and they are squishy so you can snuggle and lean a bit on them without throwing a shoulder out of whack. Or you can sit between them and push them to side. These arms are much more versatile than the pricey memory foam pillow that had fixed, firm arms that were way too tall. There is an open pocket on outside of right arm and in back of pillow for stuff. The fabric is a smooth velour type and the cover removes for washing on both the main pillow and the neck roll. The fill is a crumbled memory foam that expands over 48 hours to full loft. It conforms to your shape and looks like it will retain the fluff over time. You can also get more foam from the company if you wish: that information is in instruction leaflet that comes with the pillow. Nice option. When pillow arrives it is well packed and compressed to 1/2 size so you need to follow included instructions to get it fluffed out. Finally this is a stand alone pillow. It works for me without needing other support pillows around it. The other Amazon pillow was the reader pillow. It was also well made with similar fill but wasn’t as tall or as supportive as this one. I would add that body type and size make a difference in terms of what works for the user. I am 5 ft 7 and relatively fit but this looks like it will work for taller guys as well as women. The arms are set far enough apart for most body types. If your shoulders are super broad and you want support behind your shoulders this might not work as the pillow narrows as the height increases. Overall this pillow is just fabulous!

Worth every penny! Super comfortable, high quality filing and feels luxurious. The definition of self care right here! It was compressed and put into a large rectangular box. The shape came to its original size within a few hours. It even has a pocket at the back :)

I was looking for a giant pillow for the back of my bed, and this one was by far the best i found for the size & price point. It practically adds a new place to sit in my tiny apartment, which is invaluable to me. It's just overall really comfy to sit against.

I had been eyeing this husbando pillow for so long and as a student, was hesitant to invest in quite the $$$ back pillow. However, as I spend a lot of time reading + doing computer work, this was a great investment as I can sit in my cozy corner, read papers, crochet and work on my laptop. You truly pay for what you get. The pillow is worth every penny and I'm glad I got this over the cheaper ones I saw at Walmart. I've had chronic back pain for quite a while and this pillow was comfortable for me. I also love pink so the fact that they had such a good colour section with the cutest shade of pink was a bonus!!! ^o^ Lastly, the quality of the packaging was good and I had a fun time fluffing up the pillow LOL.

I SO wish I had known about this pillow a year ago when I was suffering extreme back pain whilst doing my final exams. I couldn't sit comfortably in a chair and the only relief I got was laying down in bed - but try holding up heavy textbooks whilst laying down! Anyway, this pillow is one of the best around, I've done my resesrch and this is one of the biggest/tallest ones you can get. I don't see the point in the short ones which don't support your full back. Its really nice and comfortable, memory foam is the best! You can also take some out or add more in to customise it to your needs. + I love all the colour options, I chose black and I wasn't disappointed. The fabric is lovely and silky, and the cover is interchangable. + Washable cover!! This is another thing which made me choose this brand... None of the others have zipped covers! + Comes with loads of memory foam, I've looked inside and its good quality shredded foam (I was worried after reading a review on here which said there was rubbish instead, not in my experience!) + Fits well on a double bed, it takes up half the bed, so the equivalent to just a single bed really. I was concerned it was going to be too big, but it actually fits well and is squishy anyway if you wanted to store it somewhere. I use it as a reading pillow/when on laptop in bed/watching tv in bed. + I like the removable head pillow, its comfortable, but I would like it to be more secured on and it falls to the front often. Although it does have adjustable button holes which is useful. + Love love the top carrying handle and pockets! Great for not losing the remote. + The arms are movable and not stiff which means you can shape it to fit your body shape. - I would like it to be a little taller! As its not completely tall enough to fit me 5'7 sitting up completely straight. You kinda have to slouch into it a bit which I guess isn't perfect posture. Overall, don't hesitate to buy this, I know its a high price but its great quality and will *fingers crossed* last years

It's so soft and comfy! Really good on back support and the neck pillow and the side pocket are a huge bonus. Worth every penny
