Not Lego compatible, but it is great on its own. This has a little textbook that doubles as a lab book. If I was teaching elementary science, I would definitely be using it as a great reference option for labs. Great gift for guided play, free play, or just tinkering.

This was a great gift for my 12 year old Grandson. He enjoys making things and I love that he likes these kits and that it keeps him off the iPad.

I got this for my nephew. Although he was younger than the age for the kit he could see the relationships required to build the different items in the kit.

We loved building a bridge as a family activity. It took a little bit of figuring out but was doable. We hated to have to take our bridge apart to be able to make any other models, but that is our only complaint.

I got this for my 10 year old who developed an interest in bridge building after a school assignment. Some of the string projects needed adult assistance but overall he had fun building the structures and learning some engineering basics.
