Beautiful book, full of easy to understand information. Out of all of my house plant books, this is by far the best

I bought this book along with a few others, and I wish now I had bought this one first as I would not have purchased the others. It's very thorough, well organized and has amazing photographs that not only help me to identify my plants, their issues and other varieties I may like, but the staging of the photos are so inspiring for home decor. It's hard cover, but light, and packed full of information. My only gripe is the catalog of plants at the beginning of each section has very tiny thumbnail photos, but all one has to do is keep flipping for the larger photos. This book is a good resource for beginners or even very green thumbs. I found the propagation section especially helpful. If you have a love of plants, add this book to your library.

This book has good information and great illustration, just wish it had more plants with there being so many more verities out now.

I love this book. It is very comprehensive with a section on all of the usual how to's and information about all kinds of house plants. The back half of the book is pictures and profiles of 194 house plants. It is divided into 3 sections with easy, moderately, or challenging to grow. Most plants have complete page of full color photo and description and care. A few are half page shared with another plant. The only complaint I have is one of my pet peeves with books anyway, photos without heading, name or titles. About half dozen times, in the front section of care and how to, the are photos of plants that aren't named and they are not in the individual plant pages. There is one plant I really like and I have searched everywhere (and I am a good internet searcher) and I can't find this particular plant. Authors, don't put in illustrations or pictures without identifying the subject!

A must have if you have plants. I gave as a Christmas present and my friend LOVED the book. I am going to buy 2 more, one for me and one for my mom. The book has beautiful pictures and is full of vital information on a variety of plants.

Before i read this book and started using it as a guide to keep my plants alive they were coming to my house to just die I had no idea how to take care of them if they were getting bugs over watered etc but now they are all going so well! most of them are thriving and the ones that arent are still recovering from my neglect the book quality is 10/10 it has a beautiful hard cover and looks great in our home

I'm really getting into houseplants recently and this book is a brilliant guide for all of the basics you need to know, and the plant profiles are AMAZING! Beautifully laid out with clear information for plant care, propagation etc and also some lovely new ideas for how to display them!

This is a beautiful and helpful guide. Most houseplant books I have seen are quite cluttered and hard to read. This book is a genuine pleasure to flick through and gives really great advice.
