Great piece of kit, works in my Tucson trouble free
1/4 the price of the Motorola and it works brilliantly. Just plugged it in and it worked a treat. Time will tell but so far so good.

Massive Improvement
I bought this device because the wired connection between my Galaxy S21 Ultra and Mazda CX-5 kept dropping, to the point where it became almost unusable. Several new cables tried. This wireless dongle is a massive improvement - I'd give it 5 stars, but the connection still drops occasionally, but always fixes itself. Problem could well be the Android Auto app anyway. Strongly recommended.

Absolutely perfect for me.
I have this plugged into my 2021 Nissan Juke Mk2, and I'm using it with my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, and it worked perfect first time, on first connect it took about 25 seconds to sync all up and connect properly, but every time I get in and turn my car on, the infotainment system boots up and by the time that's all running, my phone and the CarlinKit have already connected and it's working instantly! Not had any problems with latency, absolutely no different from how fast it runs if it's connected by cable, calls, messages, Spotify and Waze all run instantly, so as far as for its performance and functionality it in my opinion is the best you can get! When I first got the device I did a firmware update check and there was an update, so I followed the steps with absolutely no issues, and it worked first time no problems! The U.I. is a bit more fancy and graphically eye pleasing, but the basic functions are still all there, and some extra, so worth doing I'd say! My one and only negative on the device is obviously the price, for the physical device (components etcs) plus the U.I. I feel is a little overpriced for what it is, but then to counter that negative is its selling point is the fact of how simple it makes the use of using Android Auto, I get in my car, turn the car on, and by the time the car is already to go, it has already connected to my phone and Android Auto is already up and running! So for everything else it got a 5*, but just for the value and its cost, I had to knock a point off to a 4*, but that's all, if you are looking to get one of these, or the newer version, I'd say just hang in there for a promo deal to come up and get one then, I got mine at a nice 25% off! I hope this helps you make your own choice if to get the CarlinKit device, but my recommendation would be, buy it!

Finally got it working... dead within 3 months
Having finally got this peice of junk working, albeit with regular dropouts, after a whole 3 months, it has finally given up the ghost. Will not connect to head unit at all. Slowly took longer to connect, but now it has finally decided it doesnt want to play. Waste of money.

Well, that was easy.
As the title say this was very easy indeed to install. Plugged it in, connected by blue tooth, done. It took me ages to choose an Android Auto adapter for my new car and I'm glad I chose this one. Very reasonable price and quick delivery from Amazon.

Great gadget
Installation for Android auto was quick and easy. Sound is good too. I only gave 4 stars cos I don't know how long is going to last. Overall is a excellent gadget so far

Works only intermittently
This is a great concept and I really wanted it to work, however, once I'd finally got it connected (the instructions are poor and printed on the tiniest leaflet, in a very small font), it kept disconnecting and finally stopped connecting altogether. I tried all the troubleshooting tips, but nothing helped, unfortunately. Amazon were excellent and accepted the return very quickly.

Work much better than expected!
After reading some reviews about its speed in connecting and the random disconnects, I did not have high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised in that it connected with the first try at setting it up without any tinkering. It also connects within 10-15 seconds of unlocking the car (which activates the car's USB ports), so by the time I start to drive off it is already connected. I see no noticeable lag between using it and directly connecting with a cable. I have had it disconnect on its own only twice in about 2 weeks of usage. The first time was in the first 5 minutes of setting it up (which I assumed might be due to it updating and restarting itself), and another time on the very second day. In both instances it reconnected itself automatically within 10-15 seconds. And since then, it has never disconnected or failed to connect upon entering the car. To be honest, even when using cable I find Android Auto disconnects mid-drive randomly and reconnects itself. So these 2 instances could have been related to Android Auto and not the device itself. Finally, this device is significantly cheaper than other brand alternatives and seems to provide a comparable experience.

Semplice e funzionale
Ottimo articolo, piccolo, leggero e ben costruito. Assolutamente consigliato
