it’s been dangerously hot in my region and air conditioning is not common. i have this ready to go when i am starting to overheat (including vasomotor symptoms for the ladies) it really helps to feel better, and used with a fan is even more effective. it’s temporary relief as it will warm up over time

I bought a couple of these for my husband. He does HVAC installation is getting older in the summers are tough lol he has three of these and a freezer from Amazon that he keeps in his work truck. That way he can recycle them when the ice melts. Way more affordable than other brands. We aren’t in the hardest summary yet, but each vest does last him a couple hours right now.

Find another solution.
I didn't find this item to be comfortable. I'm not huge either, and it was small. More like kid size. I wore it in 100+ degree heat. It melted quickly. I would have returned it, but the return date had passed. Find another solution.

It works and it’s cost effective for the win
Bought this for my exhusband because he works in the heat all summer. He loves it and says it works better than the other stuff he’s tried. It can get a little messy when it’s cooling down but the reward is worth the risk according to him. It’s easy and cost effective.

One of the velcro pieces broke off (not even sewn into the strap seams) after (maybe?) 3 uses. Otherwise, it would have been great, but time is ticking for the remaining straps to just "disintegrate."
