Parcelona French Wide 3/4" Shell Brown and Black Celluloid Set of 2 Headbands for Women

Beautiful and comfortable! I personally would not call the color maroon red. It is more goldish-brown. I had planned to wear with a maroon outfit. I will keep it, but it does not match the clothes with which I had intended to wear it.

Obsessed ! I got the smaller width and it fits perfect t on my tiny head and the headband is like really sturdy doesn’t feel like it’s going to snap in half like every other plastic headband I’ve bought in the past.

Pros: Each head band came in a lovely reusable chiffon fabric gift bag; the color is classic tortoiseshell, true to that shown in ad photo; classic "old school" style with inside "teeth" to hold thick hair off the face; these ARE quite a bit more flexible than plastic, so I was able to bend them around a round wire basket and submerge in hot water to reform/widen the arc to fit my broad head, thus making them far more comfortable to wear (plastic ones tend to break/won't take on/retain a new shape as well as this celluloid material). CONS: One star off because they look "shiny" just like the cheap plastic kind, I was expecting a more "matte" finish. I suppose I could get a "satin" finish by rubbing it with steel wool or 600 grit sandpaper to get the look I desire on one of them, and leave the other one shiny/glossy. I bought two so I could experiment to see if this type of headband will fit my needs, and (after stretching them out in hot water as mentioned above), I am testing them by wearing both of them on my head as I am writing this and have had them on for a couple of hours and there's no pressure headache. That makes the cost well worth it IMHO, now I need to give all my cheap plastic headbands to someone with a smaller head, or toss em in the trash :/

I bought another fancy French tortoise headband and it had only a few teeth intermittently spaced along the headband. It is stretched out and is so loose. This one has teeth all the way around. It holds your hair in place and oddly it barely feels like I have it on. I have a big head and I thought for sure it would be tight. The only drawback is that it is so very dark as some other reviews mention. It is a very dark brown, it is not a tortoise shell. At least mine isn't

The reviews stating that this headband is uncomfortably tight are unfortunately correct, HOWEVER, it is super easy to warp them with heat. I posted a video showing how I did it, just keep the hair dryer aimed at it until you can kinda smell it melting (it'll start to have a slightly chemical smell). Hold it in the shape you want until the plastic cools again and it will be reshaped! They are both very dark, rich colors, and the plastic is thick and durable. These are very nice headbands once you warp them to fit! I have trouble finding headbands with a sharper point, most of them are rounded at the tip and don't part your hair cleanly when you slip them on.

Not crazy about it. Odd fit a bit tight. Combs end up digging into my head after a while it gets uncomfortable.

THE most comfortable headband ever!!! Stays put, looks stylish, doesn’t hurt behind the ears. I wear it for hours at a time and forget I have it on, it’s that comfy! Goes with any outfit because it’s so neutral. I have blonde balayage but this would honestly go with any color hair. Dress up or just casual jeans/tshirt, or to hold my hair while washing my face. I love it, what an excellent find! Highly recommend!

These are about an inch wide. They are thinner than most and comfortable to wear. They pinch a bit on the sides so they will give you a headache in the beginning. I am disappointed with them as they stretched out and I cannot wear them now. I don't have thick hair to cause them to stretch like that. Wasted my money for about a month of wear time.

Well made with a nice width; but if you have a big head, I'd pass. My head is quite small and they are almost verging on too tight. I kept them, to wear for shorter periods of time, because of their good quality.

Lovely headband. Fits well.

I love this headband. It comes in a cute little pouch. At first I thought it did look small but it fits my average adult sized head perfectly as is very comfortable.
