will this work with shoe molding on the baseboard of the wall the door slides over?

You can install a headboard so that door will be away from wall.

Is the glass see through? Could I use this as my main bathroom door?

The glass surface is smooth, but the interior is frosted. The entire glass is translucent. You can use it for bathroom doors.

Do the double doors open together?

You can open it together or just one side, depending on your needs.

If my opening is 32 inches, do I order a 32 inch door or larger?

32 inches will cover the opening and larger will cover the trim around the door. Depends on what you are looking for. Good luck.
