I've bought 3 of these. The first 2 were nearly clear, with a mild taste. The last one was dark brown, with a strong alcohol taste. According to a google search, if l-carnosine turns brown, it is (my word) "bad" and should not be consumed. Since it is a consumable, it is not returnable. I wrote an email to the manufacture, explaining the 3 purchases, and the information from google. I asked them to advise me about the product. They did not answer my email. I can only guess that the manufacture's quality control is inadequate, and they are not honest enough to "make things right". I will never buy a product from this company again.

Carnosine is a good supplement to take as its antioxidant properties fight the effects of aging. This formulation from Absonutrix seemed like a great deal (200 servings!) and delivery method (sublingual drops for high absorption). But you know what they say... if something seems too good to be true, then it very well might be!! I wish I had done my due diligence in researching the company prior to requesting the product, as I normally do with supplements. Absonutrix has a bad manufacturing & quality control track record. In a 2019 inspection of their facility, the FDA found violations of cGMP regulations for dietary supplements - their products were not prepared, packed, or held in the right conditions!! The company may have made the necessary changes since then to become compliant, but my confidence in taking their products is not very high. I don't fully trust that each serving is administering the concentration of L-carnosine it claims, or that the product is not adulterated in some way. Those concerns aside, I've been taking the supplement daily so I could adequately review it. The biggest complaint I have is that there's no measurement markings on the dropper. The recommended dosage of "17 drops" is difficult to administer since you don't always feel each drop on your tongue. According to the company, 17 drops is roughly .59 mL, so if they had at least put .25mL / .50mL / .75mL markings on the dropper, you'd have a much easier time measuring out a serving. The flavor is also unpleasant... between the ethanol, peppermint oil, and stevia, it tastes like gas station Peppermint Schnapps. I haven't taken it long enough to experience the full effect so I can't comment to efficacy. Otherwise, the product has a long shelf life (2 years on my batch). Each bottle is over 6.5 months of supply, which is an incredible deal (current list price of $31.99). Whether or not you can trust the company is another matter. Based on the concerns I have, I wouldn't recommend this brand.

I use L-Carnosine for anti-aging...have for years.....this is the first time I have tried a liquid form...I LIKE it!! I may stick with this product...so far so good!!

Have never used L-Carnosine prior to now, and only just began so I don't feel I can provide a true review on the good, the bad, the effects, or lack of. These true observations only come in time and with the longer-term use of any supplement. I have started intake as suggested, seventeen (17) drops in the mouth, hold in mouth for fifteen (15) seconds then swallow. I am still unclear why you hold it before swallowing. I very much need to research. I hope this will be as helpful as suggested within my system & will be able to verify that in about thirty (30) days. Anything before that I feel would not be of honest description & I apologize for not being able to present a better presentation of benefits or otherwise before then. But very optimistic!
