Minimalist 0.3% Ceramide Madecassoside Face Moisturizer

This product surprised me. It glides on and spreads smoothly, is silky in feel but non-oily; it’s lightweight not thick, but still moisturizes— tho for Dec/Jan/Feb I’ve had to use a heavier cream at night to keep hydration in cheeks and around mouth and around eyes; there’s hardly any smell (no Grandma smell); my skin feels great; sunscreen goes over it well after letting it absorb several minutes; I have two different foundations— both work over the top; you don’t have to use a lot, so it’s a good value; I use after two different serums that are not in the Minimalist line— works great, no flare ups; I’d like a bigger container— more than 1.7 ounces! Oh, and it’s fine/great during sweating/work outs~ it’s not a tight occlusive, so breathes better. No recommendation for dry-skin peeps EXCEPT it’s great under make-up, so maybe try it. My skin looks great in the morning at age 53! Yes, I use the Ordinary’s 7% glycolic acid twice a week at night.

Applying this right after I wash my face has made my skin so much smoother. I struggle with moisturizers because I have oily and dry skin, so the ultra rich creamy for my dry skin doesn't mesh well with my oily parts. And this is such a great middle for that.

It’s good for oily combo skin, it actually absorbs rather than just sitting on my face because my texture. It’s affordable too so it’s something I’d consider repurchasing. However, when I broke my skin barrier from something unrelated, this face lotion made stung so bad over the flaky area and only helped a little, it was better when I just waited for my skin barrier to heal without using the product. I have sensitive skin as well so maybe that was a factor to why it stung so bad or rather a section of my skin was irritated?..

This is a fantastic moisturizer. Perfect for any skin type, but it you will not regret it !

I dont know why this says for oily skin when my skin seems to be even more oily with it on. I'll try something else.

I'm always on the hunt for good, affordable moisturizer. I think this will become my new holy grail product. It reminds me strongly of the omega water cream by the inkey list. But unlike the OWC, this one doesn't break me out. I have super pity skin and it's so lightweight that it doesn't annoy me throughout the day. Will be a repurchase

I have excessively oily skin and have always avoided moisturizer because of it. This has many skin loving ingredients and was actually recommended for oily skin so I decided to take a chance. Was very pleased with how this feels on my skin and doesn't look greasy at all. No perfume or irritating scent. Will definitely buy this again and again!

I’ve used this moisturizer for a year; I’ve ordered from The Minimalist website & even Walmart. I love the product. This is the first time I’ve used Amazon to order this. I’m not sure if they changed the formulation or it could be that I’ve done something different with my skincare (no new products though), but I’ve had slight stinging when I’ve applied it. Otherwise, shipping, packaging, & delivery was good!

I have combination skin - some areas dry and others oily and prone to breakout. This moisturiser is the best I have found to meet my skin’s needs. It’s somehow deeply nourishing without clogging my pores. It hydrates without weight. Works great on its own, under sunscreen or after a serum.

I’m really happy with the Minimalist 0.3% Ceramide Face Moisturizer. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel greasy on my oily–combination skin. My skin feels well-hydrated throughout the day, and I’ve noticed improvement in my skin barrier and overall texture. It works well under sunscreen and makeup without pilling. A great daily moisturizer — definitely repurchasing.

Great moisturizer. The skin feels smooth and healthy. No greasy feeling at all. Very light.
