Does exactly what it says on the tin!
Amazing product. I had a lot of silicone to remove around an old shower tray and after managing to dig out and scrape off the majority of it I then applied this and left it overnight. Next day the residue came off like a dream leaving all the surfaces totally silicone free. I had to use two tubes as quite small but highly recommend this product.

Works well IF you've put in the effort beforehand!
This works really well as long as you spend time getting the majority of the sealant off beforehand using a scraper or blade. Once you've done this it is great for removing any residue. Note there isn't much of the stuff - there was enough to do two sides of my shower tray with a bit left over. I reckon there's enough to go down a short and long edge of a bath. I'm giving 4 stars because they don't make it obvious that you'll need to do a lot of work scraping before you can use this effectively.

Easy, efficient and great value for money.
I was having a helluva job trying to remove some very old sealant from my raised patterned bathroom tiles. After having a new shower door fitted; the new door was quite a bit thinner than the old door, leaving the old sealant clearly visible on the tiles inside my shower cubicle. I decided to search for a Silicone Sealant Remover and found this Unibond one, with excellent reviews, and Iโm so glad I did! This clear gel smells of strong bleach, but was very easy to apply and, as the sealant was so old, I decided to leave it on overnight. The following morning, the gel had expanded and solidified over the sealant, so I put on some disposable gloves and gently scraped off the gel, then wiped the tiles over thoroughly with a warm wet cloth and โhey prestoโ they were like new again. Best and easiest product to use and remove and also great value for money. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Hard to apply.
I found this very hard to apply. The photos show the white nozzle still attached during application. If this is the case I couldnโt get it to work as it just unscrewed. The tube is too wide to allow application to bead between two 90 degree surfaces. I applied by finger (protected by latex glove). I will buy a sealant remover with brush.

Does what it says on the tin... Tube.
I didn't take pics of before or after, like a doofus. I was so excited it worked so well I wanted to slap on the new silicone ASAP. But this stuff did exactly what it said on the tube, I slathered it all over the silicone I had applied a few days before, which looked like I had applied it with my face. Left it for a few hours, and the simply wiped it away, low and behold - no more wonky silicone! Ready for me to re apply, this time not with my face. So, need to hide your shameful lazy attempt at finished your sink sealing? this is the stuff!

Works really well - removed white silicone mastic from black tiles in our bathroom
It really does work - thank goodness We had, how shall I put this, a crap plumber to do a bathroom and he left patches of dried silicone (white) on a black tiled floor. 'It always happens, it can't be avoided' was his overview of the mess he left behind him and so our long search began for something to remove it. After 6 months of trying everything we could think of we finally found this on Amazon. Long story short - it works perfectly. Slap it on the offending mark(s) - leave for 3 to 4 hours - rub and scrape off. We now have a new plumber who has this fantastic new invention - dust sheets!! Seriously - it's great stuff and it works. Save yourself 6 months and buy a tube now.

Makes removing old silicone much easier
I used this before resealing around a bath, and it made a horrible job much more manageable. It softened the old silicone enough that scraping it away was far easier than trying to attack it dry. You still need patience and a decent scraper, but it definitely helps. The tube is not huge, so bigger jobs may need more than one, but for normal bathroom work it is very effective.

Excellent product.
A must-have for any sealant job! I was dreading the tedious task of removing old, stubborn silicone, but this product made it incredibly easy. The gel formula softened the hardened sealant in about 3 hours, allowing me to scrape it away cleanly without any fuss or damage to my tiles. It saved me so much time and effort, leaving a perfectly prepped surface for the new sealant. Highly recommend!
