Is there a difference between these in the men's and womens shoes, they look the same?

Basically they are completely similar; the only difference is the broadth of the shoe the men's model being slightly broader than the women's.

No, it is a quick lace system and in my opinion the laces last long enough. My first pair of these has over 800 km now and still has got lots of road to hit

Hello, no these Salomon Speedcross trainers are not Gortex lined. However they are a superb trainer providing you have slim feet, I always use short ankle length Sealskinz socks with these trainers when trail running, result perfectly dry feet at the end of the run no matter what the weather.

Are these ok with grip when running over rocks and boulders?

Cracking grip on everything but wet tiles!!!
