Top tier
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality MLV & Soundproofing Products! I’ve been using these MLV rolls from Advanced Acoustics for a while now, and they never disappoint. The quality is excellent—heavy, flexible, and easy to work with. It does a fantastic job at blocking sound, and when combined with other materials like acoustic sealant and resilient layers, the results are even better. I’ve used this for walls, floors, and even inside speaker enclosures, and it always performs well. The material cuts cleanly, and it adheres well when using the right adhesive. I also purchase other soundproofing materials they stock, like the resilient tape, and everything has been top-tier. Definitely worth the investment if you’re serious about soundproofing. Highly recommend! Will continue purchasing from this brand.

Solid flooring choice, does what it says (on the site)
I installed this product in 2018 - 7 years later it's still in perfect condition and i'm considering buying more for another room. It's heavey, which is rather the point, and significantly reduces the noise in my room, which I use as a recording studio. Highly recommended. Personally i'd make this kind of product standard in every new home but I do hate noise. :)

Very heavy but worked with other products
We have new neighbours above us, we can everything from foot steps, walking, opening cupboards, laughing and tv. It has been unbearable. I used this product with soundproofing plasterboard and green glue between all layers. Took months to finish but it worked. Now for the other rooms , one room my daughter hears the toilet above her head. Item is very heavy, used staples to attached to plasterboard and used plasterboard lifter to rise to celling. Hard work but worth it.

ACTUALLY DOES THE JOB --- SOUND WISE -- BUT -- IT IS NO MIRACLE ---
Very good product --- as i live in a block of flats --- was getting a lot of noise from ---- person living in flat beneath me --- and had tried various underlays --- IMPORTANT NOTE :- -- all normal carpet underlays are for -- impact noise -- and do absoulutley nothing to reduce --- AIRBORNE NOISE -- Reason i know this as a fact -- as i went through buying several underlays -- thinking it would do the job --- and needless to say i was wrong --- So onto the product --- it is heavy --- about 20kg per roll --- and i found it to be most effective --- doubling up on the layers --- i just put one layer on top --- of the other and this drastically reduced -- the noise from neighbour below --- you will need -- stanley knife --- but i found it easy to work with -- -- Having Gaffer tape --or -- glue -- to secure down is important as where you cut it -- it doesen't lay flat on its own ---curls up a bit --- just a point to mention --- Tthere are some review -- saying the product -- has a very bad smell --- i didn't find this was the case -- it smells slightly of new rubber when opened --- but not -- air out the room -- i can't breath --- anymore -- !! :)) So i don't know what the reviews were about saying it has a very strong smell ?? All in all a great product --- if used as intended --- I.E -- - where you are buying for sound insulation for AIRBORNE NOISE

Great quality just beware being short changed
Bought a couple of these rolls and they weren't the size advertised in either length or width (short on both).

Highly recommended
I was installing an AV room directly above a bedroom, so needed some way of reducing noise transmitted to the room below. Many of the products i looked at were designed to reduce impact noise, however this item was intended to moderate airborne noise, something it does extremely effectively. First impressions were fery good- lordy this material is dense, the rolls are unexpectedly heavy. Even as i was laying it i could hear the reduction in internal reflections, the noise i was making was very effectively damped. Laying it couldn't have been easier, i used a box cutter but any sharp knife would do. The material will take a blade at a very shallow angle, perfect for trimming small amounts to get a perfect fit. On completion i was very happy with the result that exceeded my expectations. There is now very little noise transmitted through the floor to the room below...the difference is night and day. In addition i found the vendors extremely helpful- my first consignment went missing, the chaps very kindly sent me a replacement free of charge. If i ever need something similair in future i will definitely deal with these guys again. Happy to enthusiastically recommend 👍

Good , but you have to install in correctly, read on ....
First off , it's heavy. It took me and a friend to do this and we're both strong guys. You must hang it from a wooden or similar frame, do not simply glue it to a surface it'll not hold up due to its weight. To get the best acoustic noise reduction you have to use this MLV in a sandwich. Here's the basic instructions 1: Construct your frame 2: Fill the frame with high density rock wool or similar hight density material. 3: First layer is audio ( blue colour) 15mm plaster board, screwed to the frame 4: Next, hang the MLV on the frame screwing in at the top. 5: Then use contact adhesive to glue the MLV to the rest of the plaster board under it 6: Second layer of audio plaster board screwed on top of this MLV, the sandwich Make sure you don't have common joins i.e. stagger the plaster board joins and MLV joins There are quite a few YouTube videos that'll show you in more detail what I've given in the 6 steps above. Don't forget , it's heavy work ! Hope this helps :-)

Received promptly and does the job!
Used it as a soundproofing layer behind/within my garden fence; also have sound-deflecting/absorbing fence panels (by Forest Garden) - pleased with the results.

Consigliato. Saluti
