Great gift, nice size well made

Lovely ornament. Works well but very fragile. Not bad price.

Bought this as it was only a few pounds, so excellent value for money. It is small, so check dimensions. The iron takes about 20 seconds to fall through the glass, but did produce a mesmerising affect.

This item is very good and great and value for money

My Grandson loves it, he plays with it for hours, twirling it around to make all kinds of different patterns with the Iron Filings, well worth the price.

When I purchased this product I expected a bit more. It is not so magnetic as I thought it will be. It has some light magnetism in it, but you will not be able to create elaborate designs or flower patterns with it as advertised. Also, all the time it falls the same way and you get the same shape unless you shake it around and try different angles which won't help much anyway. The design of this 'magnetic' hourglass is quite nice and will suit as a pretty decoration but even the size could be bigger. I find it way to small to have fun with it. Wouldn't buy again.

Value for money

Very interesting. One thing I don't like is that it takes seconds for the sand to drain, have to rotate the glass often. Added white background, so the black sand is more visible.

So, I won one of these at Dave & Buster's and gave it to my man as a surprise! He thought it was super cool and decided to show it off. Lo and behold, he dropped it and it shattered everywhere! (We have hard floors, it's not a problem with the piece itself!) He was so bummed, that I decided to buy him a replacement. This one arrived safe and sound and has been moved to a carpeted room so it stays safe! The designs the pieces make are fun to watch and it's a neat keepsake. Great for gifting!

è bellissima... il tempo di discesa della limatura di ferro è come scritto, circa 30 secondi. la clessidra, già piccola di suo, può sembrare anche abbastanza vuota, ma credo che con maggiori quantità di limatura, dopo un po' svanirebbe l'effetto del campo magnetico, mostrando solo il contenuto depositato sul fondo. invece con questa quantità, anche quando è scesa tutta, resta sempre la forma finale con la limatura magnetizzata, quindi anche da ferma fa la sua bella figura.
