I am a keen woodworker, so I got these bags for storing off-cuts ready to give away to a friend with a wood burning stove and they are ideal. Nice thick material that holds the sometimes sharp pieces of wood, without any poking through. They have also been ideal for bagging up garden waste and can be re-used several times once you empty the waste at the dump. These are heavy duty bags and don't rip easily like a lot of others I have tried. They are not quite as heavy duty as rubble sacks, but they are great for garden waste and heavier household waste that would usually rip through a standard bag. They seem expensive, but when you get the roll and feel the weight of it, its clear you're getting more for your money than the tiny rolls of bags from the supermarket. Overall I am very happy with these and at £8.99 for 50 x 100 liter bags, I'd say they are great value considering the quality.

I have to admit I'm that person who pushes their bin capacity to the max and beyond, I avoid taking the rubbish out especially during summer because of the midges in the Highlands I get swarmed as soon as I open the door so I cram as much rubbish as possible into my kitchen bin which always comes back and bites me in my rear end, I first spend 10 minutes trying to persuade the bin to let go of the overflowing rubbish bag, pulling on the bag while trying to use my thighs to hold the bin in place while I pull, the bin eventually let's go of the bag but during the process the broken egg shells and sharp edges on packaging tore the bin liner to shreds and has emptied half the contents of the bin across the kitchen floor, I now have an empty bin between my thighs, a half empty rubbish bag in my hands while using one foot to stop the dog trying to eat the slop on the floor and using my other foot from stopping the kitty trying to get to the remnants of what was a salmon! By the time I'm ready to head outside I then slip in the slop that's on my kitchen floor and have a second wave of pets trying to find scraps from the remainder of the rubbish in the bin bag that went flying while I slipped on the bin juice and I'm powerless in stopping them because I'm too busy starfishing on the kitchen floor! But... all of the above has been avoided since buying these bin bags, they are impressively strong and haven't split or tore once even though I continue to push their holding capacity (I'll never learn!) I use them for everyday waste and my recycling, when I empty the bin there's plenty of space left to tie the bin bags without having to stretch and pull to get enough bag to just to say tie it. I've used the bags for all sorts from taking clothes to the recycling point to garden waste and they've all held without an issue. I'll be ordering these for as long as they're available. They don't break the bank and actually do the job and the fact they're made from recycled bin bags and remain so strong is an environmental bonus. You won't look back if you switch to these 😅

TL;DR: Strong, reliable and on permanent rotation. Nothing exciting to say, which is exactly what you want from a bin bag. The material is sturdy in a way that immediately sets them apart from the semi-transparent bags you sometimes get that look like they would split if you looked at them wrong. Completely opaque, easy to carry when full, and I have put some genuinely heavy loads in these without a single split. Versatile enough that I use them for everything from general household waste to heavier clearance jobs, and they handle both without complaint. Large bags, can fit loads in. Swing a fully loaded bag into the skip and they take it in their stride. Buy them, use them, reorder them. That is the entire review. Five stars for being exactly what they claim to be without any drama.

I've been buying these bags for some time now. Usually really good quality. Very thick and no leakage. However, the last batch i received are not quite the same quality. Very hard to rip off the roll. A couple have split when trying to tear on the perforated line. The bag material feels very different this time

Have been using these bin bags for years now. The quality is better than any other bin bags I have used. The price is unmatched for how good the quality is. I use them for weekly bin changes and also, as they're heavy duty, can be used without splitting for heavy loads to transport things in too like clothing etc. Have never had a split bag that leaks out food waste at home. They fit perfectly in my bin. And they're also made using recycled plastic which is always a bonus!

These EcoBag refuse sacks have been an excellent buy. They’re really strong and sturdy, and we’ve had no issues at all with them splitting or leaking, even when they’re quite full. They’ve been absolutely perfect for our household needs. A big bonus is that they’re eco-friendly, so it’s nice to know we’re making a slightly better choice for the environment without compromising on quality. The roll also contains plenty of bags, so it lasts a long time, making them great value for money. The only small downside we’ve found is that separating a bag from the roll can be a little tricky at times. However, that’s a very minor inconvenience compared to how well the bags perform overall. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone looking for durable, reliable refuse sacks that are built to last.

These bin bags are excellent. Purchased these as the previous supplier i was using has changed suppliers and the black bin bags had become really poor quality. Purchased from this supplier and it’s like a breath of fresh air actually receiving a decent product that you’ve paid for. These black bin bags don’t split at the bottom when you pull them out from the kitchen bin, even when they are stuffed full. I will keep using this supplier from now on as the black bin bags are good.

Brilliant refuse bags. Great value and quality. Thick enough for general use. My bench mark is do my nails go through….no they don’t! Will definitely buy again. Recommended

Couldn't find the bags I usually buy, so decided to try these since they're advertised as "extra strong" and "heavy duty". These bags are neither of those things. They're thin, tear easily and leaky. Very much regret buying these
