Perfect gift for technically minded boys (and girls!)
I bought this for my 9 year old nephew for Christmas who's quite technically minded and loves taking things to pieces to see how they work (then someone has to figure out how to put them back together again once he's finished with them!). He thought it was fantastic and proudly showed it off to all the assembled relatives at the new year. He loves knowing how things work and was really proud he'd made it himself (with a little help from his dad) and spent ages patiently explaining to all the relatives how it worked. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, even for a 9 year old, and has helped him gain an understanding of how electric motors can be used. Two months on he still loves it and it's taken pride of place amongst his collection of "inventions" as he calls the things he makes. My nephew's summary of it as a gift was, "It's cool! I can't wait to go back to school and tell everybody what I made!"

Kids love it!
Brilliant. My son was given one of these as a birthday gift and I have since purchased a number of these for gifts too. Build & play - kids love it!

Great fun to assemble and play with
Brought this when it was on offer , me and my son (8) had great fun putting it together then building tracks for it to run , great fun and value for money, good instructions, some bits more fiddly than others to put together

Great fun!
I bought this for my 10 year old nephew last Christmas and wondered whether it might be a bit 'young' for him. How wrong! It was out of the box, put together with great concentration (and following written instructions - educational plus!)and was whizzing round the furniture and discarded wrapping in next-to-no time. Much more interesting and more fun than an electronic gadget!

Very average
Very average toy. But not overly impressed. It is what it is. My kids had fun putting it together though.

Good Value for money
Bought it for nephew for chistmas am sure he wouldd be board within 10 minutes but its cheaper than a fifty quid PS4 game. My brother and I had an awsome time with it. Ungreatful brat gets nothing next year.

I thought it was a brilliant present, however I'm not sure his parents appreciated ...
Brought as a christmas present for 11 yr old grandson. I thought it was a brilliant present, however I'm not sure his parents appreciated it. Would recommend for independent, confident children who are able to read and follow directions.
