Sizzix Big Shot Plus - Versatile Die Cutting, A4-Sized Opening, Sleek White & Grey, Portable Roller Design - Machine Only (White & Gray)

I bought this die cutter as a replacement for a smaller one I already had. I love it, able to cut several dies at one time , although you do have to make sure the plates are perfectly aligned when cutting to avoid damage . Well worth the money though.

This machine is really sturdy. It's so easy to use. I used to have a Cuttlebug and was always afraid of breaking it. I also had an electric one wich in a moment of madness I gave away. All things considered I like the Big Shot the best. The electric one was noisy and you had to wait for a full pass through, but with the Big shot if you're only doing a small item you can just reverse it out. Definitely would recommend

Brilliant price and machine

Since developing arthritis, burnishing a lino print is too difficult. This is a cheap, small press for printing up to A4. Plenty of different thickness plastic sheets to get the thickness correct to roll your lino between newsprint and felt. The results are very, very good.

Bought this for a great price. Really easy to use with clear instructions. Everything was packed extremely well and it was delivered very quickly. Very happy with my purchase. Update:- Sadly had to return the first one as, although embossing worked fine, the plate 'sandwich' for cutting would not go through the machine. Tested the plates on my friends Bigshot Plus and they went through just fine, so there was some kind of fault with my machine. Happy to say my replacement for the faulty one arrived the following day and works perfectly. :O)

Telle que décrite sur l'annonce. Ergonomiquement parlant, je constate une faille à cette Big Shot Plus : la hauteur des pieds ne permet pas de glisser les plateforme/plaques/adaptateurs en-dessous. Dommage car cela aurait diminué l'encombrement du matériel pendant l'usage et facilité le rangement. De même une housse plastique léger souple eut été la bienvenue afin de couvrir la machine quand elle ne sert pas. Personnellement, je travaille une matière inhabituelle : le cuir, reliefs (gaufrage/embossage) divers avant teinture et peinture. Si vous avez envie d'essayer : prenez un morceau de cuir tanné végétal naturel, rigide ou semi-rigide, épaisseur 1/1,5 mm, pré-découpez une forme d'écusson, humidifiez le, glissez le dans un classeur de gaufrage. Faites votre sandwich et passez le dans la machine. Votre morceau de cuir est prêt pour la suite : terminez le repoussage (outils cuir nécessaires), laissez sécher, teintez, + finitions peinture facultatives, protégez ce cuir et fixez le, par exemple, sur un jeans - un blouson - un sac à main - une farde - etc ... Les possibilités créatives sont vastes. Je suis très satisfaite de cet achat. Merci à Amazon UK !

I bought this before Christmas because my Grand Calibur of less than two years old fell to bits. My husband declared it a complete heap of rubbish! All plastic inside driving two metal rollers. Why did I go for this machine in particular when there are lots out there? Reputation! Reviews, forums professional crafters all recommend the Big Shot. Price also came into it. I didn't want to pay over £100 as I have to pay a hefty postage out to Spain. Since using the Big Shot I can advise that it is a sturdy machine and doesn't move around like the GC did. Have had no problems whatsoever with cutting or embossing. I have watched Sizzix demos on Hochanda and the demonstrator has mentioned the 'all metal' inside which means it shouldn't suffer the same fate as the GC. The only draw back for me is that it has a large foot print and therefore not as portable as the GC. Still think it's worthy of 5 stars though.

A bit tricky at first. Now I'm used to it, I like using it.

I don't use it as a die cutter, but as a little printing press for intaglio prints and it works perfectly. A good alternative solution for those who want to dip their toes into printing but don't want to buy or can't afford or don't have the space for a big printing press.

Tra le fustellatrici che ho e ho provato, indubbiamente la migliore. Utile per tutti gli hobby creativi, dallo scrapbooking al cucito creativo. Personalmente la utilizzo per le mie creazioni in feltro e pannolenci ormai da qualche mese e devo dire che è stato un ottimo acquisto. Il formato A4 permette di utilizzare fustelle più grandi e quindi di realizzare oggetti di qualsiasi formato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è giusto, d'altronde per gli appassionati bisogna considerarla un investimento, perché il suo utilizzo fa risparmiare moltissimo tempo oltre che permettere di realizzare forme molto più dettagliate e particolari di quanto non sia possibile fare ritagliando a mano libera.

Fabulosa máquina os la recomiendo me he encontrado un trabajo desde casa desde que la tengo . Hago postales y la vendo para san valentin madre cumple etc

Trop contente, je m'amuse beaucoup pour faire du scrapbooking, des découpes de fleurs. Et encore je commence seulement avec cette super machine, j'ai encore tant de choses à faire avec. Un grand merci au vendeur, cette machine est fait pour durer dans le temps j'espère la garder des années
