is it fun played with just 2 people (me and my 10 year old)?

it was a gift to a 7 year old , - not bad , but much more difficult with more than 2 as the board changes more between goes

I have labrynth and love it. what other games would you recommend that are as good. we have cranium, scrabble, dobble, pictionary and jenga.

I'm in the early stages of building a games collection, monopoly is a classic but really enjoy carcassonne which is easy to play but fun and has extension packs that can be added to the original game. If you like card games try uno; pit is a must if you like loud, fast and frenzied card games!

Could a five year old play this game?

Most definetely. My five yrs old plays with it all the time. We make the rules slightly easier for her by allowing her to look at all the desintation items and she can choose which one to go to first. Whereas we can only pick the top card of our packs and only move on till we reach that item. she ussually wins... Hope that helps.

How different is it to the original?

Very similar you just have to use magic cards to get up and down levels so it’s extra challenging. My boys and I loved it. We played it 3 times in a row and then played the original again. Great rainy day fun
