No, they use porcine (from a pig) pepsin. Avoid.

How big are these tablets?

About 10mm across. Quite thin. You can swallow them easily with water. They have really helped my low acid.

Why does ot contain calcium phosphate?

It’s a common binder/ filler in tablet production, and not the worst thing they could use to do this.

Does anyone know what the betaine hcl and the pepsin are derived from? the other brand i preferred was beet and parcine but it has become too costly.
