Hot Wheels Color Shifters Toy Car or Truck (Styles May Vary)​​​​

We received a car called Power Rocket which changes colour from silver to bronze. To change the colour of the car properly it has to be put in ice cold water. Then to change it back you simply have to put it in warm water.Cold tap water isn't enough for it to change colour consistently so be prepared to use a lot of ice or at least keep enough water in the fridge to play with.My son loves this car and enjoyed setting up his track so that he could either jump it into a container of cold water or warm water to watch it change.Only disappointing thing is that he loves taking it in the bath but of course it doesn't change colour... unless I give him an ice bath but he's not ready for that yet!The colour shifter cars are more expensive than the regular Hot Wheels cars and the prices tend to fluctuate from day to day on Amazon so keep an eye out, but I feel I got a good deal at £4.99

First it is cold then try warm to hot water then it will change colour! Great stocking stuffer! Fun to use a lighter to reveal sections of the colours (obviously not recommended that kids have lighters). Die cast metal so it feels heavy and sturdy. Great value as collectors item. Cool looks.

Very good product, I purchased 4, unfortunately one wasn't working, am awaiting a replacement, frustrating I need to take a trip out to post office to return faulty item, would still recommend item I was probably just unlucky.

I was really apprehensive about buying this as I had read so many mixed reviews. A lot of people said they didn’t change colour. I wouldn’t have brought it as it felt very expensive but I had already purchased the hot wheels car wash and couldn’t find any colour shifter cars cheap on eBay. But I was really plead as soon as it arrived I tested it (I didn’t want to give it to my daughter only to find out it didn’t work) but it changed colour straight away. Actually quite impressive. Bit expensive but good fun if you have the car wash.

Don’t believe the pictures!…shows lots of colours and shapes…then ended up with nothing like shown..dull dark brown..!

It is good and the car does colour shift. But the colour shift only happens when the water is ICE cold. For an inpatient 4 year old boy it wasn't the most practical of hot wheels products.

These cars are awesome. My son loved them. They do work perfect ya d are original Hot Wheels cars, but some of them work with warm water or cold water. It’s necessary to read instructions carefully or check online, but cars are legit.

Bought multiples of these fro my grand nephews and they all got hours of fun from them.

I didn't think that if I bought four different cars in a set, I'd get two of the same one. And the cars themselves aren't exactly pretty. It's bad to buy a pig in a poke. It's a bit of a bummer, but I'm too lazy to return them.

Amazing product.Just that you need considerably cold and more than warm water around you.It works perfectly fine then.With moderate warmth or just cold water it would be difficult to have a quick or complete color shift.After the initial excitement, it would remain just a normal but wierd hotwheel in your collection.

Bought two and received two different vehicles. Green SUV that changes to white in hot water, then back to green in cold. Red scorpion car that changes to orange and reveals *very* subtle red lightning bolts on top of the orange paint color. The green to white is much more dramatic. I can barely tell the difference between the red and the orange color change, but it definitely changes color. The scorpion car has a stinger that comes off and on. It’s about an inch long and could be a choking hazard for young children. Overall, I’m happy and would gladly purchase again and take the chance that we would receive different cars. You might find cheaper in a store for color change vehicles, but this was the best price I could find anywhere online.Some of the reviews mention that the colors don’t change, or that they stop working. In our experience, we did think they stopped working after a while, but it turned out that we just weren’t leaving them in the hot or cold water long enough. When we were more patient, they did change!

Mijn kleinzoon was heel teleurgesteld , we hebben een set van 4 besteld zoals hierboven afgebeeld is, en hebben maar 1 autootje ontvangen i p v 4 stuks, ik heb direct een mail naar de dienst klachten gestuurd ,en normaal zou ik binnen de 6 uur een antwoord terug krijgen, we zijn nu 3 weken verder, en heb spijtig genoeg nog steeds geen antwoord, we hebben wel betaald voor 4 autootjes, we zijn normaal altijd heel tevreden met de aankopen bij Amazon, maar nu effe niet ! mvg Mireille

Son geniales, con la calidad de hotwheels que siempre les acompaña!A mi hijo le encantan, cambian de color rápidamente. Hay que decir para aquellos que comentan que no funcionan que el agua fría debe estar a una temperatura muy fría, por debajo de los 10 grados si es posible, nosotros le echamos unos cubitos de hielo en un recipiente y listo!Son de metal, con diseños muy atractivos y coloridos que a los niños les vuelven locos. Horas de diversión y entretenimiento asegurados!El modelo que se envía es aleatorio, puede tocar cualquiera, yo he pedido dos y no se repetían.
