Used the first time, easy to set up & inflate. Felt pretty sturdy in the water, for what I would expect from an inflatable kyak. Used in a large lake, smooth water conditions. The only thing I would say, is the inflatable seat design is a bit bad. The valves for blowing up are not non-returnable valves. This makes them difficult to inflate and then push valve in. Also I found the rear seat backrest valve kept popping out. This caused it to deflate and provide no support. I wedged something behind it to stop this from happening. Otherwise I cant really fault the item.

I bought this in 2013 My son and his cousin used it quite a lot in the sea at Leyn Peninsula North Wales, they have always found it great fun and have some fantastic memories from their good times using it. we have just enjoyed a week in the lake district and gave it plenty of use on Ullswater. it is very stable and very well made, ours is as fresh as the day we bought it. when it was used in the sea ,we always hosed it down with fresh water to get the sea salt off it. we use a billows type pump with it and it inflates in less than ten minutes,we blow the seats up by mouth. when we think of the years of enjoyment and the price of it back then £220, it's turned out to be excellent value for money. we use it wearing life/saftey jackets to be on the safe side. well pleased.

Had this kayak for over a year and have used it on the sea, lakes and rivers. Best use on slow river, really fun. Pros: Sturdy kayak, inflates well. Mine has two seats, second is good for a child. Nice and stable and has never capsized. Paddle is good quality. Check if this is included. Cons: I'm writing this review as I've spoken to a few sevylor owners on the river bank. We all complain about the original seats. They are uncomfortable to the point of giving you back ache and reduce the time you spend in it. They also deflate easily. Some people resort to kneeling, but thats not great either. Tips: change the seat! Sewing velco onto base of a replacement seat (available on amazon, see picture). Makes this a great kayak. This is a huge faff to do, but essential. Would I recommend? Not really, as other brands, e.g. Decathl*n appear to have much better seats out of the box. I'm really happy with mine now the seat is changed.

We have now bought two of these canoes such was our delight with the first one! The quality of the materials and construction is very good and the canoe is overall excellent value for money. Once inflated, the canoe is stable and very comfortable for adults and children. Our youngest daughter could do with a slightly shorter paddle handle though. We've used the canoes both on inland lochs as well as open sea. The only difficulty we've had is being able to fit the deflated canoe back in the supplied bag! With a bit of fumbling about and some practice it's achievable but doesn't fit in the same way as when it arrives. The opening on the bag could be a bit wider. Overall, this is a well constructed canoe and is excellent for family use. Would definitely recommend it.

It's far more sturdy than the Riviera version with fabric covered sides that make them stiffer. The clip on fin beats having to buy a separate skeg, too. It handles pretty well in calm water - I've only been out for a 30 minute paddle up the canal but it's maneuverable and responsive, not as quick as a hard canoe but comes with the benefits of being able to chuck it in the back of a car and transport with ease. The paddles feel strong but seem to fill with water that cannot be drained afterwards, so they now "sloosh". The canoe could do with a better spray deck as the kayak style paddle drips in a lot of spray so it can get quite wet in the canoe but the seat was inflated enough to stop a wet seat.... just soaked legs and feet that a longer spray deck could have avoided. The other issue is the seat back not really being quite as supportive or comfortable as the box makes out... it sort of does the job but this is where it feels most like a cheap canoe, as does the semi exposed i-beam floor. That said, it feels like it will last pretty well even with a lot of use... many positives and definitely beats the cheaper version Riviera but I will miss the spray deck and backpack system in particular as there's no way a wet canoe is going to be able to fit back into what's essentially a stuff sack to get taken back home by car to dry out!

seats didnt inflate at all making this product very uncomfortble to paddle so i had to kneel but that was so hard on my knees i gave up aftet 30 mins. very disappointed as previous canoe i used was good. wont buy this brand again.

Umm'd and ahh'd about buying this but really glad I did. Really easy to inflate and set up although the seats aren't the easiest to trap the air in. Had so much fun with it already, on the canal and in the sea. Very comfortable and easy to control, not as flexible as you would think it would be and very stable. Quality is great and I'm looking forward to taking it out again soon.

I love the look of the kayak and how quick to inflate, it’s very sturdy and I’m very happy with it! The only issue I have is the valve to the seats are useless as soon as you pull out the pump they Immediately deflate’

Da wir mit unserem GFK-Kanu seit Jahren nicht mehr gefahren waren, haben wir heute eine erste Ausfahrt mit dem aufblasbaren Kanu auf dem Bodden auf der Insel Rügen gemacht. Ergebnis: Wir sind sehr begeistert. 1. Die Lieferung war schnell und wie angekündigt. 2. Das Boot macht einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Das Material ist robust und hochwertig. 3. Der Aufbau ist einfach, aber sollte vor dem ersten Einsatz einmal zu Hause gemacht werden, da man beim Aufblasen des Bootes darauf achten sollte, dass die Luftkammern der Seiten an der richtigen Stelle in der Hülle stecken. Ist dies nicht so, wird das Boot schief. Wir haben beim ersten Aufbau ca. 1,5 Stunden gebraucht, um das Boot in die richtige Form zu bekommen. Beim ersten Ausflug hat der Aufbau dann - nur mit BLasebalg - ca. 20 Minuten gedauert. Das ist ok. 4. Das Fahren mit dem Boot ist sehr sicher, da der Boden flach ist. Es ist nicht kippelig und läßt sich dank der Finne gut steuern. Die Paddel sind ok. Insgesamt 5 Sterne, da das Gesamtpaket sehr gelungen ist. Tolle Alternative zu einem GfK-Boot, da es sich viel leichter und einfacher transportieren läßt. 4.

Livraison rapide. Matériel léger et très facile à mettre en place. Manoeuvrabilité de l'embarcation tout à fait remarquable, sans doute due en partie à la mini-quille.

Lo utilizo en la playa y es perfecto. En sólo 10 minutos lo tengo montado. Es muy fácil de llevar entre 2 personas aunque pesa un poco. Yo me he comprado una carretilla para poder bajarlo a la playa ya inflado.

Bon rapport qualité prix, bonne flottabilité, stable et confortable, prend pas beaucoup de place et facile à gonfler, je vous conseille d’acheter une pompe à air électrique et de terminer avec la pompe à pied. Seul inconvénient, si une des 2 parties latéral est plus gonfler que l’autre, celui-ci a tendance à pancher. Les rames fournis avec sont solide et bonne à prendre en main juste un peut courte.
