OptiGlanz Stainless Steel Cleaner (Removes Exhaust Pipe Bluing) - 250ml Spray Bottle

This stuff is great. The pipes on my Hornet were minging. This brought them up beautifully. It's expensive. You may need to use it multiple times and each time a bit more crud will come off. Some agitation, perhaps with a stiff brush, may be necessary to help things along too. I also used it on a few other nasty metal parts and it took off a lot of surface corrosion and gave me a decent clean surface to polish up nicley. Read the instructions! I needed to mask off some parts of my bike to prevent damage - this stuff will ruin plastics and some other surfaces. This stuff stinks and fizzes and bubbles up like a badly poured pint. Several applications may be needed over time, that will leave a dull, clean surface. You then need to polish up the metal surface with whatever you like to use to bring it up to a shine (that's the hard bit). I use Peeks metal polish. Years and years ago Hein Gericke used to do their own version of this, can't remember what it was called... this appears to be the same thing, only a lot more expensive than I remember! Worth it though, I mean look at that engine casing and those pipes!

This stuff cleaned the corroded brown header pipes on my fireblade like magic. I'd been polishing away for ages with autosol and got nowhere. When I sprayed this on, I could see the pipes change to shiny silver almost instantly. It's expensive but it works well. One word of warning, this stuff smells strongly like almonds which makes me wonder if it's got cyanide in it. And it makes corroded metal go shiny almost instantly... it's obviously very very powerful stuff and I would use this in a well ventilated place, and consider gloves and eye protection.

Brilliant product, used on my my newly acquired Fazer downpipes, they were solid brown as the previous owner didn't take the lower fairing off to clean, and not sure if this would have any effect. Did need two applications and a light scrub with a nylon scouring pad but they came up very clean, a quick application of metal polish to finish off and they are like new. Didn't even use half the bottle on 4 pipes. Great result for very little effort.

This is fantastic at cleaning stainless steel. I used it on my exhaust and you literally just spray it on, wait a minute and wash it off. Very impressed. I’m going to try it on some titanium and see if that yields similar results.

Didn’t even touch the heavily soiled front pipes on my R1150 RS. Waste of money.

It was with great anticipation that When I received this product that I would try it out.Although I haven't quite used the contents completely I expended a lot of effort into the down pipes from my boxer twin BMW R1150RT. The bluing is still on the pipes leading out from the pistons but did a great job on cleaning the pipes and lower exhaust box from exhaust. I will have another go but I will be amazed if it clears as these pipes get really hot.

Brilliant stuff! It's expensive, but if you're looking for somthing to clean your exhaust this will do it. I'm an all year biker, no car, just a bike so my poor bike gets some really heavy use every day of the year including 100-150 mile round trip for work each day, I use this once a year when I do it's first 'proper' post winter wash and it always returns my exhaust and headers to its former glory making it nice and easy to clean through the summer again. I'm about to order my 3rd bottle ready for year no.3 next year. I'd definitely recommend it.

Very rarely leave reviews, but had to for this. Initially applied a coat for 3 minutes as directed. Made a slight difference, but nothing spectacular. Applied a second coat and gave the pipes a scrub with a scouring sponge and came up lovely. A little bit pricey, but would definitely recommend.

Ha fatto un ottimo lavoro per pulire i tubi sulla mia moto Yamaha FZ6. Eccellente per la pulizia inox.Eccellente ottimo Vi consiglio di coprire plastiche e motore con nailon e ruote, mettete una vaschetta sotto perché è aggressivo sulle plastiche, i tubi e pavimento. Comunque è veramente ottimo.

Macht genau das was es soll! Habe die Krümmer meines Motorrads damit behandelt. Schon beim Auftragen war die Wirkung sichtbar. Kurz einwirken lassen und danach mit reichlich Wasser abgespült. Das Ergebnis: schööön sauber geworden!

Ich kann das nur jedem empfehlen, es funktioniert einfach super für die meine Edelstahlabgasanlage
