How’s it possible for 280 ml to be originally £79.99 reduced to £56 when the manufacturer sells for £44?

I bought this same item in December for £28!!! I got it with a 10% discount, but still… I decided to get another one so I went onto the ‘Purchase Again’ section and can’t believe the price increase. Shocking!!! Won’t be buying it again, that’s for sure!
