They are sticks
They are longer than most sticks and a little more rigid.

Shorter than expected, not great
Not as long as you think. The rods are sturdy, but the round, smooth, thin handles are cumbersome and not very helpful. They are way too short for my needs and it was hard to tell until using them, so I won't return them but these are for small (heavy?) puppets. They would be much better at 20".

Nice product, but some flaws
I really liked how long the rods are. However, the grip doesn't stay on right, but to it's defense all the other rods do the same thing. I'd recommend for anyone who buys these to put duck tape at the edge of the grip to keep it in place.

No authentic markings
This item is supposed to be authentic SML merchandise, but there are no markings on the item, or even a booklet stating that these are authentic. To me they look like the generic pair I could have gotten for 7 dollars. It probably would have came in the same generic box and wrapping that the SML one came with. Quit being so cheap and include something in the box that says they are authentic merchandise.
