I use a body scrub type sponge and it foams up in that - it will lather up a little I. Your hands. The best thing is I use it in place of soap. It does not dr the skin and my skin is softer and much less likely to develop eczema type patches. Best thing I've ever used for my eczema.

Will it help itchy skin

This body wash did not soothe my dry and itchy skin and appeared to have an adverse effect on areas affected by Lichen Sclerorus/Planus. I was disappointed given that this product has received very good online reviews. Baffling, really. I eventually read the ingredients list and at least one item is 'controversial' and therefore something I try to avoid 'just in case'. I've had itchy and sore skin conditions for years and am looking for the magic answer. For me Aveeno Body Wash wasn't it, neither was the Aveeno bath additive - used separately and tried several days after I stopped using the Body Wash.

Can this be used as a hand wash instead of soap?

I don’t see why not, your hands are part of your body and this is body wash. The bottle is quite large though so might be a bit cumbersome to use.

Can this be used on hair ?

Nope, have never used, but bought aveeno baby which is both a body and hair wash !!
