Unfortunately this was a gift and it arrived with a crack

I recently purchased this fondue set and found it to be of very good quality. The wood on the stand is stained teak and very nice, and all of the metal parts of the stand were quite solid and well-connected. I have had several fondue pots and none of them have a heavy metal fuel holder. If a person is concerned about heat transferring to the table, simply put an inexpensive stone tile underneath it prior to use (I use a 12" travertine square tile, which was left over from tiling the floor). The rubber stopper in the handle can (and probably should) be easily removed when heating in use. It also comes with teak handled forks, color coded on the ends. These have an especially nice feature not found on most fondue forks--a long, third center tine. This helps hold bread secure for dipping. I have had a ceramic fondue pot from another reputable company break before. It can happen. Generally speaking, I would say it was because of a sudden temperature change. All in all, I believe this is a very nice set and have no qualms about recommending it.

Totally fantastic product however they really need to fix the packaging. This was not designed to ship. I had to exchange quite a few times before getting one that wasn't broken. Still worth it.

We love this set. Remember the old cheap sets that burn or bubble the cheese, you have to blow out the flame just to keep it all from burning? This thick pit spreads out the heat and does a great job. Excellent so far

I bought this fondu set and I'm very happy with it. All the parts where in the box and intact. It's great because it's dishwasher safe and tells you on the box and in the cleaning / care manual. It's great for melted cheesy appetiser or dessert. I made chocolate covered strawberries and bananas for a family gathering. I hope you will enjoy it too.

The handle broke off before I could even use it... Don't go cheap... get the cast iron one and skip this Chinese trinket.

The pot was in multiple pieces. Seems OBVIOUS this was a return that was reshipped out to me broken. So frustrating!!

Decided at short notice we wanted to do a cheese fondue. Lots of choice but we wanted an inexpensive option , as we did not know how often we would use it. This is well made and the pot is particularly good. Can be used in the oven, job or microwave Solid but not heavy and dishwasher proof. The stand is nice . I have taken a mark off as the burner is perhaps bthe weakest point. It does take liquid and solid fuel but is a little flimsy. Works a treat in use for both cheese and chocolate. Certainly we don't use it often but this was a great value product and I would recommend it.

Ein super Käsefondue Set. Sehr hochwertig, toll verarbeitet. Ideal für einen schönen Abend mit Freunden. Im Lieferumfang enthalten war eine universale Brennschale. Diese kann mit Spiritus o.ä. befüllt werden. Sehr praktisch um nicht ständig diese Brennpasten laufen zu müssen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
