Well constructed and great value for money
I have been taking photographs since the mid 1970s and over the years have gone through my fair share of filters, square, round and even homemade. This K&F filter comes well packaged in a sturdy plastic box which a foam insert designed to securely hold the filter whilst being transported. The insert has recessed finger holes for very easy removal of the filter even with cold fingers. On picking up the filter the first thing you notice is how sturdy it is and how velvety smooth the movement when you twist the outer ring. I have purchased lower-priced filters before and sometimes been very disappointed in the mechanical construction but not this time as it is on a par with many more expensive filters in my collection.I purchased this to use on my Nikon lenses when shooting video. My normal choice of filter is the square system but at present for video use these screw-in ND faders are by far the best option for my money. One of the first acid tests for any filter is how well it attaches to the front of the lens and this one did not disappoint. Straight on, first time with no fuss or fumble. The filter rim sits proud on a Nikkor 24-70 f2.8 making the outer ring very easy to grip when adjusting the strength of the ND filter. This is a relatively slimline filter and as with other slimline filters I have used the lens cap does not feel very secure attached to the front but this is not an issue with this type of lens as I only have it attached whilst I’m actually using the camera.Whilst I have not had the chance yet to try the filter in all conditions my early conclusions are very positive. Physically using the filter is very pleasant because of the smoothness of operation and there are handy markings around the rim of the filter showing maximum and minimum positions. On a dull day like today, shooting with a Neutral picture style I found the images taken with the filter lacked just a little contrast compared to those with no filter. I doubt that it would be as noticeable on a bright, sunny day (when to be fair an ND fader is more likely to be needed) but in the event it was not a major issue as I simply tweaked the contrast up a notch or two and created a custom picture style which worked a treat. As soon as we do get a bright, sunny day I will test the filters again and if my assumption regarding contrast proves wrong I will post an update below. However, with a 1,500 mile wide storm due to batter the Uk over the weekend don’t hold your breath!I have other K&F products in my kit bag, including lens adapters, and would not hesitate to purchase this brand in the future. On my personal experience to date they are well constructed and represent very good value for money. This filter represents incredible value for money and the small niggle with reduced contrast in dull conditions does not give me a reason to reduce the star rating. Had I paid around the £100 mark for the filter then all other things being equal I would certainly be dropping one star but at this price point that is just being curmudgeonly. Please note that whilst I have reviewed the 77mm version here I have also purchased a 67mm version too for use with a Samyang 12mm lens on a Fuji X-T10.

Fantastic ND filter if you’re on a budget
Another great high-quality ND FILTER from K&F concept. This is my third filter and I’ve had no issues with it. Fits great. And there are no notable problems with focus. Great for the price.

A good budget ND Filter to Get you started
A good budget ND Filter to Get you started. This is a decent starter ND Filter, it gets the job done and I didn't notice a huge impact on image quality when using. It's very useful being able to have one filter on and simply turning it to adjust the intensity. One negative is that at the highest ND setting you do get a X shape appear on the image, this is common with most variable filters and makes it unusable at the higher intensities. However for the price you can't go wrong with this even if you only use it for the lower ND intensities.Definitely recommend for beginners who want to learn more about filters and experiments until you have the confidence to drop a much larger sum of money on high quality filters.

Very good quality lens, highly recommended. Super easy to adjust the amount of light being transmitted.

So effective in improving contrast of my photos
Really good quality item. Only drawback is standard sigma lens shade does not fit over but can be worked around

Very good
Excellent Variable ND Filter for Photographers and Videographers!I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. As someone who shoots both photos and videos, having a high-quality variable ND filter is essential. The filter feels solid and well-made, with a slim profile that prevents vignetting even on wide-angle lenses. The metal ring rotates smoothly, offering precise control as well. No noticeable color shift, no cross-pattern, and it performs beautifully in bright outdoor conditions. The included microfiber cleaning cloth is a nice touch and much appreciated. The only downside is that there are no hard stops at the minimum and maximum settings. This makes it a little too easy to accidentally rotate beyond the usable range, if you’re not careful. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be mindful of during use

Not bad but some annoying issues
For the price this is good for an emergency filter, but be wary of five star reviews claiming this is high end kit. It isn't. A really good filter would cost you five times as much, and it's easy to see where K&F cut corners. For videoing purposes this will serve my requirements, and I'm not too bothered about colour shift as I shoot in 10bit log and can correct it. The good news is that there is no noticeable X mark, which variables can suffer from. The bad news is that I can no longer attach my lens cap or hood to this thing. This defeats the whole object of a variable, which is there for speed and efficiency. Now I am obliged to remove the filter every time I want to put the lens cap back on, while my hood sits in my camera bag, collecting dust, with the filter restricting me on what shots I can capture. This was purchased specifically for the Panasonic 100-300, a zoom that needs a lens hood. The fact that K&F omitted to include an internal thread means I can't even look to buy a different lens hood to fit. No hood is going to fit this thing.Like I said, for £25, this does the job, but I'm kicking myself for not doing further research before purchasing. I should have just bought a couple of fixed ND filters that allow me to attach my hood. The fact I can't even fit my lens cap is extremely annoying.

Bare bones filter but good for the price
Seems to work well, with good clarity. Also, have thankfully not experienced the X some reviews seem to have come across, though that may be dependent on different sized filters, mine is a 49mm filter thread size for an EF 50mm.Although the product functions well, and I’m happy with the price, the downsides include my current lens cover working so I either have to purchase a new one or take the lens off every time between use, and also the lack of a lock on the ND filter which means you can keep twisting it without any mechanical feel to knowing what the minimum/maximum ND amount is which then also means more fiddling - this would have been a nice touch but I understand that might be a more premium feature.Overall, you’re getting what you pay for, it’s a low price and it functions well - you lose out on some features you’d get from more premium filters.

Prezzo prestazioni.
Buone prestazioni per un prezzo entry level. Consigliato, da avere con sé se si vogliono fare riprese video in manuale ed anche per effetti fotografici.

Actually the 52mm does not fit the sigma 30mm lens, you need another size
I ordered the 52mm filter because the 30mm f1.4 sigma lens for sony e-mount cameras has a 52mm thread but after lens arrived, I couldn't fit it on.But after-service support was pretty helpful in telling me this

Variable Neutral Density filter works great on Digital camera
The filter will help in removing reflections of water or shiny surfaces, plus the ability to help with the exposer times for various picture effects. Screws on the end of your lens like a UV filter and has an easy to turn the metal ring to adjust the amount of neutral density from a little to a lot, so can be left on the lens as protection. the product is well made and should provide years of service.
