Alesis MidiVerb 4 Digital Effects Processor

Brilliant. I use it in the effects loop of my Mesa Express Plus for delay effects and it works superbly. User setting are pretty easy to adjust despite the inevitably limited front panel controls.

Love the sounds and choices of the patches on this unit, had some trouble as the mother board needed replacing after a short period of time so be careful?. having said that the shop were great it was repaired in no time, and I've had no problems since( touch wood)! I use it via a behinger FCB 1010 foot controller and through my EVH 50 and Marshall cab, simple but very effective set up.. unit is easy to program( got to be for me)!! and gives you a vast choice of reverbs, delays and chorus etc.. there are as with most effects units a few sounds you would never use but overall a great unit for the money! Just make sure if you use a similar set up to mine, you turn the Midiberb on last! as you may find it freezes and wipes your saved sounds!!

This is the one for you whether on a budget or not. Great for gigging. Professional sound.

Don't get me wrong - the reverbs and most of the other effects available on this unit are most definitely five star, professional sounds but there are a couple of minor niggles. Used with a mixer's stereo effects buses or a powerful midi editor it's easy to achieve the correct desired wet/dry mix but used as a simple in-line effect the absence of a global wet/dry setting means that each patch must be set individually and those settings will only be stored for the User patches not the Presets which will necessitate you using User patches to store altered Presets (the Presets are great by the way) - I said it was a minor niggle but I've used FX units with global wet/dry settings before and it is a useful feature. Another minor niggle is that switching between patches can sometimes make a little noise. The display backlight on mine went AWOL requiring much squinting but I've no idea if this issue is unique to mine or widespread. Conclusion - a truly excellent, professional sounding effects unit with reverbs in particular which will bring your sound to life - but just a hair's breadth short of perfection. At current prices, however, it should be a must-buy as I paid more than twice as much for mine. PS. Be careful when switching between stereo and dual mono patches as the increase in volume can be BIG. UPDATE: A little Internet research tells me that the backlight issue mentioned above may not be uncommon.

This is a great unit! Its interface is ridiculously easy to use, the effects sound studio-worthy and the footswitch input is super easy to change its function (program up/down and bypass capabilities). All in all, this unit is well worth the money, and I will never not use it...

honnêtement pour 160 euro il n'y a rien à dire ça vaut cependant un Behringer à 98 euro j'ai acheté ensuite un éclipse Eventide et là on commence à parler effet acheter bon marché revient toujours plus cher à la longue pensez-y !!! Salut les gros !!!

very good performance

Very easy to set up, lot of preset to choose from. Nice echo and make me sound like half a singer. Great product.
